I have the same truck you don’t have to take the wheel off or the inner plastic mud guard, everything can be done from the bottom! The first time took about an hour after that about 20 min
Easiest way to heighten a drill press is to get an old rim from a truck. Weld a 1/4" plate across the edges of the rim and drill for the original foot. The press won't tip over and will be more stable than the original foot. It will also be relatively easy to move to a new position in the workshop.
now, i'm pretty sure that a 317 only had one hydraulic spool, but i could be wrong..... but this i understand: i need more tools 🤔... that bandsaw? ... oooh boy...
Pretty decent welder for the price! I got mine here in Canada for $115.00 off Amazon. For the price, the Hitbox mini stick (tig) is really perfect for any small DIY home welding jobs!
Excellent work, exactly what I was looking for. No "special" tools, mills or lathes. Thanks for the inspiration. Where did you get the main brackets? pulleys?
Nice job building, but you need to protect your tractor and the hydraulic rams from the sparks while your welding. A welding blanket works best. Also, your painting technique needs work. You look like your spraying insect killer😁 Your getting overspray everywhere.
Nice work, looks like you've got a great workshop. I too would really appreciate a parts list. I need a belt grinder, just can't afford to buy one but I think I could get something like this together with a bit of help on the parts list. Cheers
Nice toy. It needs a cutting edge on the bucket to stiffen stand to be a wear edge. The electric hydraulic is terribly slow . But , it was a fine project.
