The emotion code is the first energy work modality I learned and practiced on myself. This video was made in Jan 2009, 2 years and a half ago, and Amazon hasn't updated the software so far!! I live in Brazil and it was impossible to send the Kindle back, otherwise I would do it. I bought the Kindle with the certainty that I could do the "immersion", but what a negative surprise. It's really disappointing!!!
@wiseowl The book is full of stories about people for whom it has worked. And jojostar88's observation that if you don't believe it works it won't work is right on. That kind of thinking is known as a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you were truly wise, regardless of what kind of bird you might be, you would be much more open minded and would probably have a much more fulfilling life.

Hi! You will need either an Android device and Amazon Kindle app or an iOS device like iPhone, iPad or iPod and the Amazon Kindle app. Currently immersion reading is NOT available on any Amazon paperwhite Reader device. We look forward to when Amazon will support immersive reading on their e-ink Readers.
Thank you for posting this. I am so pissed! I just spent 15 bucks on an audiobook with the kindle book hoping i could listen and read together. Why wouldn't Amazon think to include that function on their own product?! It's maddening.
Immersion reading isn’t true immersion if the user is still dependent on using a second device. Now user has to navigate between two devices, draining double the battery usage, really horrible experience. I want one device that I play audio and read along. I expect that as I am reading to tap on audio headphone icon will trigger audible seamlessly allowing me to keep reading along with the audio. Super disappointing... even if I connected to Alexa or Bluetooth headphones, I can only listen and not read along. The workaround is to launch two separate experiences. Alexa read audio while I read. There’s no way to sync the two devices. Whispersync is not on Kindle without certain audio purchases.
Thank you for your explanation and this is very disappointing news! I don't want to give iPhone or tablet to my kid as I would like him to read and not play at least in the evening. Spent hours trying to set up audiobooks on kindle and pair it with some wireless speaker. It doesn't want to pair either with Alexa Dot or with Google Speaker, or with Apple headphones. Was now researching into Bluetooth speaker when came across your video. Now there is no point to have the speaker as it wouldn't solve my problem of "Immersion Reading"
Do not buy this device ... it is totally unusable for professional use. Every contact sound, even if you hang it in rubber bands, you will hear in your recording. Suppose you put your recorder on pieces of foam rubber and stuff some cotton and you connect your headphones, then every contact with the cable is a drum burst in your recording. It is incomprehensible that no one complains about this in all reviews from professionals. So you can only use it on a tripod without headphones and no one walking on the floor. So don't put it on a table. What works well is connecting an external mic in the line-in and switching off all Zoom mics. Good luck not buying this device. Oh yes, I have the Tascam DR4 and the ZoomH6, they don't have this problem.

My wife has been recording professionally with this device for years. What are you doing? Jumping up and down while recording? :) Really interested, because this device is fine for any sort of voice recording and voice acting.
@@notjustforme I'm talking about contact sound. so a gentle touch on the recorder, mic or headphone cable or a gentle tap on the tripod leg that the recorder records like a drum roll. really awful. With the tascam and the other Zoom's you don't have that problem at all. This may be resolved with the models after 2020, but not with this device. But I have heard that more people have given up the device for this
Feeling so scammed. Spent lots on adding whispersync when buying kindle books just for the Immersion function only to find Amazon's (e-reader) kindles don't support it! Grr!!
I was very disappointed that there was no immersion reading on the latest Kindle Paperwhite. When I saw that the paperwhite included Audible I just thought it had immersion reading. Amazon needs to included it on all Kindles.
Yeah the android experience is better. Maybe e ink won't refresh fast enough. I find the paperwhite slow in general being used to an 855 processor on smartphone. We need e ink on an android phone
There are actually some Android eink devices. It's not very common though. I am currently planning on buying an onyx boox device. It’s basically an Android tablet with an eink screen. They have several sizes, most of which also come with a pen for note taking. The larger ones can be a bit expensive though.
I agree with you, all that useless commentary for a painfully long 2 minutes and 27 seconds was extremely irritating. Not to mention frustrating, irrelevant and a waste of our time. The rest if it was informative, however.
Apparently, Tesla has given outside solar companies the opportunity to sell there Powerwalls, after being trained by Tesla in proper installation. I just ordered 2 from same company that installed my solar, and have been given a time table of 8 weeks for completed install. I ordered first week of July, so hope done by mid Sept.
I placed my order May 14 2020 for 1 Powerwall to be installed to my existing Tesla Solar System I spoke to the Tesla representative about delivery of the Tesla Powerwall and they said there was a backlog and I could expect the Powerwall to be installed by Aug 2020 taking into account getting approval from the HOA and the City board

Same boat as you. Ordered two of the PowerWalls II back in November, 2019. Completed the utility questionnaire, sent pictures of our current electrical breaker box and wall where we want to install the PowerWalls. Were told back in February that they had everything and the "design" team would be working on it and let us know when they have submitted the permit at our local planning department for review. That's the last we heard from them. Have tried several times to email and call our Tesla "Rep" but he does not answer. I think their service desk are made up of young people that get burned out and leave. Does anyone have a viable number to call to actually speak to a live body at Tesla?
@@PurposefullyInspired Hi ST. We've got our 2 Power Wall 2 units. It's been about 9 months since taking delivery and using the powerwall. It is a good investment for us, but the California Public Utilities Commission threatens the return on investment with their ideas to revise net metering. We need to take action to support renewable energy options and consumer-friendly rewards to accelerate transition to sustainable energy solutions global.
@sky cloud - Indeed disappointing. We are optimistic that Amazon Kindle group will evolve this feature into dedicated e-ink products and not just android based fire tablets and kindle application (iOS / Android OS)
Very dissapointing, I understand that highlighting text as the audio book reads along is not practical due to e-ink screens, but they can make page turns automatic while playing audio books. Very inconsiderate of Amazon. Amazon apps always have terrible UI and user experience. Their website looks like it was designed by an amateur. A sharp contrast from Apple and Google, who takes UX very seriously with an excellent team of human computer interaction experts and researchers. Shame on Amazon!
I would love to do immersion reading on my Kindle, but I'm not surprised it can't. I've never seen anything like the animations of immersion reading on my Kindle Paperwhite. It must need a bigger processor for tings like that.

Starting a petition to Amazon to include the feature across all the kindle products. As an avid supporter and user, it's only fair that Amazon find a way to honor "immersive reading" globally. :D
I'm just now getting interested in "immersion reading". I've never bought a kindle ebook but have been listening to audiobooks for a while now. With that said, is there a budget friendly way to go about purchasing both? I just bought Game of Thrones on Audible and would like to know if I should have bought a bundle or buy the kindle version first? I don't own a Kindle, as I intend to use my Note 8, unless "immersion reading" ends up being a game changer. Just worried of overspending on an ebook since audiobooks are a priority for my personal use.
I would look into the kindle app on your device and check if the kindle app supports "immersion reading" It's an amazing feature and worth verifying both on your device's app AND on the specific title.
