Coating & filling ● 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate in double boiler (bowl over saucepan full of hot water). ● Unsalted Butter ● Double Cream (or Creme Fraïche or Sour Cream) ● 1 × Orange Peel (microplane grated) ● 1 - 3 × Tablespoons of Grand Marnier or Cointreau ● 1 × Teaspoon Vanilla Extract Filling ● Whipping Cream ● Vanilla Extract ● Caster sugar ● Dark Chocolate Melt chocolate. Whip cream in electric mixer, gradually adding the sugar & vanilla. Gradually fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream. Spread cream filling between chocolate cake layers & cover the outside with chocolate ganache & let cool. Decoration ideas ● Pre-sift both icing sugar & cocoa. Dust over cake in whatever pattern you like. ● Grind & pre-sift 1 tbsps instant coffee granules to fine powder. Dust over cake with icing sugar in pattern. ● Cut long strings of Orange Peel. Melt 60%/40% mix of Sugar/Water over low heat until sugar is melted into syrup. Add 1 tbsp Grand Marnier. Simmer orange peel in syrup for 15 minutes. Strain & reserve syrup. Separate & dry peel on silicon paper. Decorate chocolate cake with candied peel.

chipping jn here, i made TD at like 11 years old in school after reading narnia and it was incredible, every time since then it has tasted like perfume, shit is rancid i dont know how we made it so good that one time
