I'd absolutely love to have one. DO you know if the bucket can be ran from a power pack hooked into the tool quick connect in the unlikely event that the PTO or pump tapped out? I know a power pac could hook in on both sides of the pump there's just no connection there without Teeing in with 150 bucks worth of fittings.
Looking closely, it seems like that truck has the bucket for a center mount(behind cab) boom, not a rear axel mount. This affects where the hoses for the tool come out and end up get caught on the bucket when your working. Is this intentional
Genuinely curious on what I have a dump trailer just because I want to start getting into this business and in the near future I would like a hook lift or roll off from what I’ve seen I see more benefits from a hooklift
@@puropresidential If you are hauling light stuff hooks are great... but if you're hauling cans full of scrap metal, concrete , etc cable is much better
I be pullin' a trailer/dolly behind my hook lift was nerve wracking first trip to a refinery tight AF but felt awesome gettin' er done. This video helped thanks very much!
Ok let me stop you right there ive been operating roll off for 30 yes and my suggestion to protect your box and prevent it from shifting off the rails is before raising my boom i make sure my tail is extended out and then baxk slowly to the wheel rollers of the container then proceed to hook the cable on once in the truck winch up past the first rollers and release the air brakes and as your winching up the weight will pull the truck under the container as you continue to adjust your angle and keeping the nose as low as possible once 80 percent of it is on and there isnt any weight on the tail then proceed to lower your boom and and a safe point winch it in tight and lower the little remaining amount .... ive seen to many guys tip sideways cause they werent controlling the truck as it goes under the box 👌👌👌
O be honest with a skilled driver roll off is faster. This guy here was slow and not that good. I like the hook lift better but its slower when needing to turn cans quick
pfft Roll Ons are a fucking joke why u think there are Farming Sim mods based off of these let alone PRIVATE MOD GROUPS BASING THEIR MODS OFF OF THESE LET ALONE NO LINKS TO THEIR MODS OR NOT GIVING NO FUCKS ABOUT CARING FOR THEIR MODS?!? Clearly the Hooklifts are more superior and efficiant than the rolloffs and anyone that says hooklifts are gay can FUCK THE HELL OFF!! U MOTHERFUCKERS!! GTFO U HOOKLIFT TRUCK HATING SONS OF BITCHES!!
@@neverstoppulling5169 it's like saying all war is done by tanks...screw guns..... majority of uses is smaller than the biggest uses.... and for those, hooklifts seem like a better solution
@@Ryan_0708I worked on those trucks. Most of the ones I’ve seen the end of the cable goes over the top of the cab and through the windshield. We have one rip the hook off the can and send it through the back of the cab and lodge in the dash. We have no idea how the driver managed to do it.
hello, I work in a Roll on truck, here in Brazil, at the company Ambipar, and I have the set for Julieta, it is excellent equipment for work and maintenance
I have a hoist that's 8 inches by 4 and half inches thick and I want make an extension tail if I buy a frame 7 by 3 will it fit in there . Please let me know or are you selling the tail already.
Not even a trucker, but I'm happy that those wire systems are history here. Most units got the hook frame instead. Here is an 'typical' half pipe bunks asphalt hauling unit for city pavement job purpose - bigger roads= more common with trailer units. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WvHOiiEWzAE.html
