The loss must have hurt terribly, but to give up after all that? She was still a tremendous fighter. Losing once during such a tremendous career doesn’t make her a failure.
TJ loosing that fight was the best thing for his health probably, i think he would have had real trouble and possibly lethal outcomes if he continued to cut that weight
The way Rogan continuously touted Lousey's "skills" spotlights the fact that no matter how well-versed and knowledgeable you are about any given subject, you can still be so... *_SO..._* very wrong about something that it becomes ludicrous.
In my opinion women are not made for this sport. Sure it's a huge business and it grew with her but women are simply physical not done for this. Seeing women fist fighting it just feels wrong. But I'm not a big MMA fan anyway. Muay Thai but only adult men.
I feel really bad for her, she needs professional help. She needs to see what caused her need to attach herself to a championship and move on from sport and social media
Some people get into these great fighters heads and makes them doubt and makes them weak... no way they thought like this when they were learning to fight or during their first half of their careers... at some point some therapist or some assh0le dug up what should stay buried. And is downhill from there. People need to learn to tell so called therapists to fuk off.
The truth is the Roster was paper thin when she started. Take any ranked boxer today and send them back to the 19th century, they would be considered the greatest fighter that ever lived.
Though I think Rousey is a piece of shit person all things considered, is it delusion or gaslighting when you have the top pundits/reporters/commentators and even goats claiming you could beat Mayweather in boxing gassing you up in every possible orifice? Just a thought
5:30 What the fuk is it with all this therapy bullsh!t.... Jesus!! The therapist is normally more f-up than you are, and probably knows LESS than you who lives with whatever it is afflicting you, and he or she will not tell you ANYTHING to do or behave that you don't already know, so why does it have more weight when the "therapist" says it?? Do those things you ALREADY know you need to do, why do you all need a cheerleader to encourage you on simple very logical things to do to OVERCOME the issue... it is sad as F to hear this bullsh!t spirally in a video about FIGHTING!! Seems the goal now is to make EVERYONE insecure and weaker, grab your balls and do what you already know you need to do.... Jesus!! And stay the hell away from ANYONE that is trying low key to make you weaker mentally or physically. If you need to read, just read!! If you need to lift weight just get off your a** and do it... "well, it's not that easy, not everyone can do that..." bullsh!t!!! anyone can and does put one leg in front of the other, anyone has access to books and reading, in any medium or even small city, anyone can lift SOMETHING HEAVY... I see kids like these every damn day at teh gym, tehy answer like this when I ask them to make the effort to lift or sprint, seems like everyone else around their lives, from damn parents to teachers and movies etc tells them somehow that life is shit and be overly careful, and ask an "expert" instead of reading the books themselves, or..... god damn it, don't fuk up more people with this sponsor. You even make the fake sad voice, and facial expressions, for this, there is just no way you talk like this everywhere.
The danger is part of the excitement. I believe a fighter should practice responsibly. You have a certain amount of trauma that your body can absorb before visible deterioration. You want to increase your absorption capacity by improving neck strong. You also want to improve brain resilience with practise such as mindfulness, good sleep habits, personalise nutritionz if possible you should also find a exercise for working memory as it is a key component of every cognitive task. Futhermore it's important to be calculated about your exposition to traumatic impact. If you are careful you'll still hurt yourself but it won't be to the point of developing dementia. But the habits you develop to be able to endure the stress of the game will be beneficial as long as you maintain them. Actually if you are careful and you sustain all the good habits you've take after you stop your practice you'll be a much stronger person physically and mentally. The key point is to get out before its gets too bad and to vow to yourself to maintain both the physical and mental training for the rest of your life. You'll have a very different tale than those with CTE as you'll maintain your strengh and toughness for a life time.
I never understood the "groundbreaking" part of this. If you make a big deal about something then you're acknowledging it's an outlier and something rare, not something common.
No, we really *_did_* always know she was a one-trick pony, always overrated, and reigning over the shallowest division in the sport. Women's MMA has always been far behind the men's competition in terms of technique level and talent, and all it takes to be the best in WMMA is one strong skill and physical superiority, which is what the likes of Cyborg, Nunes, and yes, Rousey as well, had over their competition. There's a reason why the Paulo Costas, Gregy Hardys, and Lavar Johnsons of the world don't become champions in men's MMA at the highest level. Women's MMA has not gotten better, either. Raquel Pennington's sloppy-ass striking was good enough to get her to be a champion at 135. It's absurdly bad, and Ronda was not somehow above this. We knew what she was back when casuals were eating up the bullshit spewed by Rogan and the UFC, and your revisionist attempt to paint other people calling her downfall well in advance as just blind hate is laughable. We didn't buy the hype, you did, don't be mad we weren't blinded by the bullshit.
My body beat hepatitis c by itself... its not a life ender. Sure, its easily transmissible thru blood or sexual contact, but thats it. Slowly affects you depending on life quality. Someone who is relatively healthy and drinking water can beat it in a year... That said, the treatment is something i personally looked into, and also witnessed many friends go thru treatment. It made them less energetic, and that is it. They felt faint for a week or two. Took 18 weeks. Very, very low effort. Very low risk. Very low side effects. Very high success rate. Hepatitis C is not that bad. As someone who had it for years I can say confidently this video was wonderful on every way, except how hep was trumped up, and the pills side affects were made much worse than they truly are.
