Uprising! The first of Bob Marley music cassette I bought on the day of my graduation that year. Shortly after his death his music was every where, some of my class mates had it on their lips and I began to be interested, so some time in May 1983 I saw a cassette hawker in my school premises while we were rounding up our final exams (WAEC) as it is called then, I bought"uprising" it is memories and significant to me and since then is Me and Dem (Marley Music) No regrets, it's been renewed every new day! Bob is alive and kicking by the words and beating of his music. One love, lovers of Bob and his music.
Bob Marley is everlasting. He has no replacement.Like other great African sons like,Marcus Garvey, Nelson Mandela,Frantz Fanon,Walter Rodney,China Achebe among others, his works can never be erased from our history whether of the past, present or future.
If I had a daughter I was going to name her Eden Forest. But I miscarried. Did time start in the garden after the apple? Is that what they’ve been on about? Centuries.
Vive Alpha Blondy ^^ Greetings frm Belgium
Never listened to this album before. I have exodus on vinyl. I have bob moments now and then but mostly I think about will smith and his dog in legend. And that’s why I look sad and forsaken.
I was lucky enough to get to see him performed in Paris summer of 1981. Even today, it still the Best Concert I have ever seen in my whole life. May his soul rest in eternal peace 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽. One Love !!!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
