They have a cook(s), feeding a staff, and prepared to make anything every day that the boss wants. They are shopping out of a food budget and whatever they can save they'll keep.😂
The one tipoff that this has to be from the late 90s or later is the color purple. Companies catered to a strange German law before that that kept computers and servers grey, black, or beige .
Those are from the mid to late 90's, and each one was a little more powerful than an iPhone 3G at certain tasks. They were primarily used for hosting databases because their architecture is slightly more efficient at that task compared to x86. I serviced quite a few of those before I was finally able to convince the business unit I supported to give the green light to decommission them after I found a handful of much newer Sun Microsystems machines from a different BU who wanted to get rid of them. They're interesting, but a bit of a pain in the ass to deal with. Most of those machines will completely lack any means of graphical output and can only be interacted with via a serial interface, which is what the monitor and keyboard are there for. It's a serial terminal to allow you to access the server locally for troubleshooting or performing tasks that you don't trust performing remotely.
Just a warning they usually let people in 15-20 minutes before but (any store I have been to) does not let you check out until after opening. Something about the ancient technology they use takes a bit to go online and whatever. So yes you can shop early, but don't think you're getting in and out quickly. Think of it as early checkout queueing lol.
