Sifu Wong Jack Man lived until Dec 2018 after the screening of "Birth of the Dragon" was cut. Regardless of who won the match, if both of the sifus came out alive, it's a draw, no one died. Wong Jack Man said Bruce Lee is good, and he respected him.
Is Bruce wife telling the truth about the fight??? Everyone have their on version of the fight. I would believe her version than anyone liars out there!!!!
4:32 she is merely boasting her husband. There is no any video of that fight available. If such event took place and it's video wasn't recorded is a really big wonder! And there is no one evidence available of such fight. And if that incident was really happened then I denounce the behavior of those both. Because they had to discuss and debate first. Because it was a matter of morality/ideology. And shaolin philosophy is peace lover. I don't think that shaolin warrior would do such behave. It's not good to teach any art to someone without observing its character. If a student is bad charactered then he or she will use skills with bad purposes. Nowadays we see kung has gone in the hands of bad people also.
Growing up as a kid I used to watch Bruce Lee films over and over again practised his moves from all his films from his first film big boss to enter the dragon, never had any fights because I was too scared when it really came to it this one time I got brave this older kid whacked me at juniors school I threw a punch with a bruce Lee stance after and hit him in the throat by accident the teachers told.me off and called both our parents in I was made out to be the bully and they asked where did you learn to fight like that I said Bruce Lee films that day my dad beat me with a stick at the time it killed I remember crying for an hour. Thanks Bruce you got me beaten with a stick!! 😂😂😂
Think back. Why would a woman be present for this fight? Why no traditional greeting? Why did Wong not strike back? This sounds not real. I think the6 talked when she was not around and fought when she was not there. Both three punches but before ten minutes the jet kun do speed was appearant.
Hollywood just make fake stories even with the real title I believe in reality not in an industry... However (dragon the Bruce Lee story) shows us clearly that Bruce just kicked his ass and ask him this question for 2 times like Mrs Bruce Lee said... I believe that it was actually Wong Jackman which Hollywood showed with a different name in that movie I believe that it's Jackman who just killed him...
Movies about Bruce lee paint him as such an arrogant dick-head. But to all personal accounts of people, and fellow actors, who know him well, and worked closely with him, all say that he was an extremely genuine good person, and humble man. I think his charismatic personality has been overly exacerbated by the industry. For me, I think that a man of his skills could only have been developed by experience. That powerful tool in life that teaches us our many imperfections. Bruce never became as good as he was without getting his kicked...HARD! And to all of us who have learned that hard way, we know just how important "humility becomes our greatest teacher."
I’m 50 Bruce is a one and only no matter what the debate is. Absolutely a HERO in my book. So it is with the utmost respect that I question his wife’s account about this fight. It is clear he changed his style after the fight but why would he if he was so victorious so fast in the match? That just doesn’t make sense to me.
no disrespect but tradition says loser of challenge match closes school...also after match Bruce started looking outside wing Chun for answers... xing yi and bagua are nothing nice in a real fight...
My how things can turned around . Yea linda said the fight between them was 5 minutes or something like that . Another spectator said it last like 25 minutes and neither one wanted to land that fatal blow . I’m chalking it up as a stalemate
@@lacampbellmd1 My money is on Linda than some anonymous “random spectator”. Knowing the Chinese community mindset. They would have demanded a rematch rather than giving in to Bruce Lee teaching non Chinese students.
I believe bruce lee won but i read that master wong never ran, yes he gave up of course cus he couldnt beat bruce lee agilities and fast movements..n linda wasnt there to actually see it., she apparently was taken outside bcus bruce was worried of her safety..
Master wong was reacting vs hitting him n apparently he refused to actually hit him specially his kicks...which resulted BL to lose his temper bcus he couldnt really hit him , n do to that he got frustrated and tired af. Bruce didnt show his best self then, super cocky af n we all know he had the worst temper! thru time he learned to be more humble and learn n buttered up his technique n became obsessed by it to be better. N technically wong actually had him in choke hole n refused to hit him so who knows wong might of won it too .. we will never know
