India’s strategic interests dictate that India has to hv an offensive posture with base facilities in Vietnam, Indonesia, in the Island chain in the Arabian Sea, & in the Horn of Africa. India’s offensive posture has to based on 8 operational Nuclear Submarines & 3 operational Aircraft carriers groups with shore based land, maritime & air assets. No single power can dominate by itself the entire spaces & oceans under contention. No matter what AUKUS or China or any other grouping does, India should be sufficiently equipped with integrated forces to hold the balance of power which others cannot ignore.
