We live in a rural area of Central Minnesota. We have small family farm of 80 Acres. We live our lives in Faith, Family, Farming, and Homesteading. In our efforts to share our traditional lifestyle by sustainable farming and living with people we have created this page along with few others. Each page expresses us a little differently, part of us on each page as we live and your welcome to follow watch and like them all. We have a page: facebook.com/FarmingHomesteadingFamily where try to express our thoughts, the values and morals we love in this great country.
We love Reef tanks and they are part of our life as DVMs, hence we live and breath as ReefDVMs aside from being farmers, the Facebook page is facebook.com/ReefDVMs/ or online website at reefdvms.com/
Great video and very helpful and informative (looking into buying the Komo despite it having a less powerful motor than than the Mockmill 200). Really appreciate the wood and the sifter often. Grateful you gave the heads up about having to keep the tube attached to the bottom before removing! Thank you!
You are not alone having a situation like this - we all have. But we are always in hurry as there is always something else we have to get to. But thanks for taking the time to post the video as it does help to know this.

I feel your frustration with PL-259's. They're basically used in applications about 170 MHz and below due to their poor impedance matching at higher frequencies. I used to sell these things to mainly CBers, Hams and Marine VHF applications, my advice to those looking is if you want to attempt this pick up the better PL259's with the Teflon insulators as the others tend to melt with the high heat needed to solder the braid. Better bet if your going to be installing a few adapt these dopey connectors to BNC's and pick up the correct crimpers for the BNC's as long as your not exceeding about 100 W.
1:16...what code book are you using that says you don't have to glue them? 110 says you must install according to manufacture's instructions. Also, don't forget the layer of sand above and below the pipes to protect them.
3:20 The 13 year old(est) with the skill saw makes me smile. My daughter was taught to run tools young as well. She was/is my right hand man (lil lady)
The 835 / 865 uses the old narrow 825 bed. Measure at the front; the 8 series is 63+ inches wide. And your prices are way off. A base 835 with no cab and no power steering after destination is going to run over $18k to start
Yes, a 800 series for our farm we bought a nice one for about $18k and up here they maybe they don't charge as much since living cost is less but I know you can get R series for about $33k if you want all the bells and whistle on lot up by us=)
What a great looking garden! Your daughter does an amazing job operating that great big tiller, I’m totally impressed!! I have never heard of Preen before, I’m guessing it’s some kind of corn gluten product!? We can’t get Spinosad in Canada, the companies have to pay to go through the regulation process but our market is too small to justify the expense. I have been putting diatomaceous earth on mine. I pray you will heal up quickly!
I am happy for you if you like the end product of sifted flour, however, why go to all the trouble of milling your own flour if you are going to then sift out all the healthy ingredients from it.
Fantastic review, voice over really enhanced the video, Totally get and agree with your analysis, glad to see your daughter enjoying strimmer, l purchase the same model two months ago and I love it. I have just subscribed, greeting from Ireland !!!
If its any comfort, replacing my antennae took me 2 1/2 hours when I though it would only be 30 minutes. The things one discovers when the last person who put it together never gave a thought to taking it apart again. Thanks, your placement of the PL259 was the missing link for me.
My prayers are with you for quick and good healing. The old Farmall can be put back together, but replacing you would be a lot harder. Take care and get better. I'll look forward to seeing the old tractor getting repaired and running again one day.
He is out of the hospital ICU now, Dad might have to go back for shoulder surgery since his right arm is like paper weight. His back hurts but he can stand slowly and we are feeling blessed to have him back in the farm after this
I repurposed the one I had but think they still sell similar at menards and Amazon www.amazon.com/POWERTEC-UT1002-Universal-Tool-Stand/dp/B01381O7NS/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=1LY5K3H57AHCF&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.UY_kVc3NWzHHwPlOd91QDDDE5BcoZU5QbPSfV1Emy3iEWy0yOq9Pb_DlESFlye62xvifOK1GKziGtgSE5S39_EIWtQLLXA_M596EdZJEUuey7jzvWAR9AyVDnavfGiB_7fFvvS6SJvagwkn7vKqh-reew8lLVlo3jLVfCrqzLL-jc-Lvq9Zn0NH46Xl0ZSNhhEvhxDN0ybiW497It5ediw.N2oCjd6jlPUG8oTWOV9FyNW6oND60kHKqNaMZJsAgoU&dib_tag=se&keywords=tool+table&qid=1717125109&sprefix=tool+tabl%2Caps%2C281&sr=8-3
WARNING: Battery operated tools are for California compliance only, nothing else. In California, most properties with lawns are under HOA's or sprawling condominium/apartment complexes that are professional managed. They have contractors that mow lawns daily for a living. They mow year round since California has a miild winter. Battery operated tools need regular use to get your money's worth out of them. A regular homeowner in middle America that uses their tools occasionally will be very disappointed at the lifespan and performance of the tool. Any store in anywhere else America is just stealing your money by selling them to you.
That's incredible we're so sorry, our thoughts and prayers🙏are with you for a rapid recovery, we'll be waiting to see you up and about doing farm work. 💪
Very sorry to hear about this. Your Angel was definitely looking out for you. I prayed a memorare that your recovery is as fast as possible. Rest and recover.
I have a friend who just lets the beans get dry, and then has her grandkids stomp them, lol. The beans fall to the bottom of the bucket. You can then gather off the lighter husks. Then she tosses them on a tray in front of a fan to remove the rest of the fluff. Chaff?
In some places, you are required to run a layer of tape ( think " Police line, do not cross" ) about 6 inches below the surface and above the buried lines. This is in case anyone digs there; they are warned by the tape that something is directly below.
Had one. Too narrow for gardening. Handles for a short person. Watch the wheels. If you don't take them off regularly ' they will weld theirs selves onto the rod. No grease fitting. Good motor. Crank every time. My lasted 12 years. Buy one at least 16-18 inches wide. Gear shifter broke I do believe they quit making these. Best one I had was a proline pro. Quit making those too. All you can find is this China crap. Don't last at all.
