You've convinced me to get into Soulblight 😅 what was that red you used, and did you print or kit bash that highlander sword? Completely agree that vampires suit swords more, love it.
It's Khorne red through Mephiston and then a little ice yellow mixed in (with a few more steps and glazing), the sword is actually the Vampire Lord of Zombie Dragons sword trimmed back :D :D Thaaaaaanks!!!
Also im 100% sure the no non movie models in the army book is from New Line not GW, plus theres no way they'd put all this effort into a book for it to be invalid so quickly. There been some contract stuff behind the scenes
The Facebook groups and Reddit doomsayers are pissing me off, the negativity is ridiculous, all of them talking about staying on the current edition can do so, I'm sure the GBHL will have all of 0 events for them to attend

The amount of work is ridiculous, isn't it, for such an expensive model. Hopefully the moulds will get a refurb or something soon HOWEVER, Damn it's awesome when he's together. All primed now, just starting to add shadow colours in!
You missed something important. Sinister strikes can be used on 2 abilities. If you use the sinister strikes for an ability while stealthed it stays up for an additional ability. So you can sinister strikes, preparation, then when you get to 3 opportunity again shadowfall and immediately waylay. Doing this my waylay has crit for as high as 1500 damage and the shadowfall has crit for up to 700. I was super buffed for that hot though.
I hope they make a new Grave Guard kit soon. A whole unit that is visually similar to the Sons of Velmorn would be fantastic. New Black Knights would be great too!
Of course, you spend half an hour waffling on about the kit and build one leg, then you skip straight past the actually useful bit showing how to position the fiddly little cables on the torso!
I know resin molds age pretty fast, so getting an early produced copy, probably will get you a better cast. I never heard similar info on plastic kits and their molds producing worse miniatures when the get older. I actually got the Old World Bretonnia models earlier this year and compared them to the ones I bought when they were first released ~20 years ago and I could not tell the difference. And that is coming from someone that is very picky when it comes to any imperfections.
Those God Hand ones (or similar single edge cutters like the ones from DSPIAE), are a game changer. Never thought it would make that much of a difference. They are no only nicer to work with, they save you work as well, because of how clean the cuts are.
I think your points about where classes go on the quad is great. I had to keep reminding myself you are talking about where the classes can and should flex. Not where they currently are. Because it seems that shaman currently is better healer then cleric and monk is better dps the wizards.
Yes for sure. The fact that a Cleric SHOULD be that 100% heal spot is important I think, and at the moment, they're definitely not there! Wizards, are interesting. With gear in the groups I've been in in the guild with a DPS parser we run, they can absolutely blow every other class away with DPS. But not sure it's quite as sustainable. Thanks for watching. I really like this kind of videos of Pantheon. Even if this ain't the state at the moment, i'm pretty sure Joppa himself have said that all healing classes will be just as capable of healing, the flexing as i understand it will vary from different classes, Shaman seems to be able to flex more than the Cleric but it won't effect the max healing capability when the Shaman don't go into a flexing role, it will share the top with the Cleric and Druid. Just as the tank classes will be on the same level of tanking even if the Dire lord can flex a little more into dps 'cause of the way the Dire lord is build and the Paladin can flex up their dps against undead. When it comes to the dps he also mentioned that the Ranger will be at the top with the Wizard, i can't recall that i heard anything about where the other dps classes will land in comparison - Great video, keep'em coming :)
I think depth is the word you are looking for here. Rogues and Shamans have a deep kit while Clerics and Warriors don't. Warriors could gain depth through gearing (tank set/dps set/clickies) and perhaps the mastery system. Clerics might be screwed as the best way to fix them would be combining them with paladin into one class which is unlikely to happen at this point. I'm excited for Necromancer, hopefully it can flex into healing like in everquest

I like the new heads for the malstrains better, it reflects that they adapted to the darkness of hive secundus, and by the way they remind me of Lovecraft( (Innsmouth...Hotel Gilman...stay forever...;)) But that is just my opinion...getting my box on saturday in a week....I am very hyped :)

wow, you have no idea how surreal it is to see the models i spent hours looking at in that book to find out they are yours XD. i am rebuilding ym tomb kign army after it was stolen and am going for a queen Cleopatra theme with black white and red regalia and shields. thank you so much for the inspiration you have no idea
So a very cool alternative to color shift paints is nail art flakes, Midwinter Mini's and a few other people did tutorials on using them on Tyranids a few years back. I probably wouldn't want to do that on a large force, but for something like the Spyrers or a kill team where your never going to need to do a given scheme on more than a handful of models.
Yeah, that's an option. I'm not really a fan of colour shift style paints, but I'll be painting this in a colour shift sort of style around a blue hue but just using regular acrylics. Already looking cool, I'll try to get a vid up soiooon! Thanks for watching :D
