This is gorgeous footage! The area at the Palisades cliffs (23:10), or more specifically below there, is a dive site we call The Whirhole. It goes down to about 80 feet deep in that spot! Some folks claim there is a train car sunken there. If it is, then we've yet to find it 🤷 Thanks so much for putting this together! Drone shots of this area are always spectacular! Cool footage. Enjoyed watching. Just as an FYI, though, the New isn't one of only 2 rivers that flow north. The Shenandoah flows almost due north in Virginia, and there are several in West Virginia that flow north. People say the same thing about the Saint Johns River in Florida (which also flows north). It's interesting to consider where/ when the idea arose.
I lived in Giles county for a few years. When that big summer storm hit we’re out of power for 4 weeks so we would go down to the river to take a bath and get water from a nearby spring.

Nice drone footage. Just a correction... it is not one of only two rivers that flow north. I’ve lived by other rivers that flow north. The Shenandoah River in Virginia, the Monongahela in West Virginia, and the Willamette in Oregon. I’m sure there are hundreds more that flow from south to north
