Thanks for the video and information. I found your channel looking for the whoopie sling stick mod because I thought this is what I wanted to use, but I went to your most recent video and I noticed you're using Daisy chains. Just out of curiosity and the desire to save time and money, why did you leave the whoopie?
so im a big dude too...... would you do this mod to replace a cam buckle on a treestand? just bought a XOP and i want to get away from the cam buckles... at least 1 of them.
LB, Great info. Could you let me know what length of Amsteel I should start with for a single stick? You indicated in the vid it would be much longer then your example. Thanks in advance
Why is mine so loud? I just got new cams and a new string and now ots a little to the right when it hits the string stop and got loud. I should kept my damn mathews vxr...that thing was the best bow i have ever shot
Excellent video, I already have a couple whoopy slings because I'm a hammock camper. I use them for suspension for my hammock. I'll have to try them out on a couple of my sticks
Good tutorial, I'm a Florida hunter and when I hunt around the Glades the habitat is naturally swampy in areas. My preferred method of sleeping is in a hammock up of the wet ground, bugs ,snakes and the like. I've used dynema woppies on my hammock for years never thought of using on my sticks. I use amsteel daisy chains What do you do if you're woppie sling binds tight while on a tree and you cant loosen it. The reason I ask is I've had mine bind on me before on a hammock setup and it was a pain to undo. Cheers from down south.
Thanks for a great how to video, just finished my 1st Amsteel 1/4" whoopie sling to replace the web strap on my saddle platform. This is game changing!!!
Bought one of these last summer and everytime I shoot it at the bow shop someone says "dang that bow shoots fast what kind of bow is it" lol Definitely best bang for your buck
I bought one last year, it is a great bow. I love mine. It is a steal for the price. I Think of it as an ultralite version of the bowtec tribute. He didn't mention the flip disc that allows for a smooth draw or high-speed draw cycles
XOP makes really great stuff but you guys need to stop misleading people about the weight of your stands and sticks. Four of your sticks weigh just around 14 pounds and the Vanish weighs about 13.5. That’s more like 27.5 pounds total so you’re off by 6 pounds. Still pretty light but when you advertise significantly less it’s a turn off.
i absolutely love the setup as a whole, i just received mine about a month ago, i agree and was a little disappointed when i discovered the weight difference than i had expected, im still reasonably young and can handle packing it around however i agree they should be more honest about the actual weight of their stands and sticks!!
