I loved this piece! The movement, the use of touch and sensation, and the way the many aspects (engaging music, vibrant costumes, supple movement) came together in a cohesive whole.
One trick that works good is first make a smaller ponytail with a skinny hairband then gather the hair around to make a bigger ponytail. Then twist the hair around to make a bun and use a scrunchie or whatever method you want to hold the bun in place. The double ponytail keeps the bun from drooping down in the back.
Why do your dancers threaten me they want to kill me why? My name is mike durand and i had sex with morgan rose while she is invisible but i didnt know fully. we have kids all i ever wanted was to have a family and dance its my past time. One day everyone will die and go somewhere like heaven or hell or whatever respond if you care.
Hi there, I'm doing a film project inspired (among other) by Where the Wild Things Are and I would love to access the archive of the performance made by the Washington Ballet. Is there anyone I can find that ? Thanks a lot
I've been doing ballet for 2 months, and never officially learned how to do a bun with thick, curly, long hair. And this was super helpful! But I did add another hair tie just because my hair is THICK XD
I am such a no-hair person and just cannot do any style for me or my daughter. I am not a handy person at all and have this phobia but your video is so simple that didn't scare me. Will definitely try this on my daughter for her ballet show. Things motherhood makes you do.... :) Thank you very much for making this look very simple!
I'd love to see a tutorial for making a ballet bun for Indian, thick hair. Like proper thick hair. Thanks for the video but her hair is thin compared to my daughters hair and I cannot get it flat.
By far my favorite production of Swan Lake!!! Thank you Kirk Peterson for all you do! And allowing us Nutmeg students to be your “guinea pigs”! What an honor!!! And what fun!!!
