@@HogLordSupreme Sadly I don’t I also don’t have the consistent free time to dedicate to trying to establish a locals for the game I occasionally get some friends to jam some games with me when I provide the cards(mostly draft and sealed games these days) A majority of my games for FoW are played online through tournaments There’s also a solid Discord for the game so that helps keep me plugged into the community yee
Yea I should have gone with my initial gut response but I was like “yea this dude has probably gotten more reps in than me lately so I’ll take their word on it” Fortunately the damage doesn’t look to have made a difference in the end that game given the killing blow was 3200 But yea big oof throughout a lot of this tournament on my brain fried end yee

been so long, played force of will way back when there was a BREAK ability (left after they removed it, but still found cards around in shops) honestly seeing those cards' art, ew no terrible, they dont fit the old FoW game's design.

Deal with it if you can” or the decks that run card that just reset their life to a number yea So having an answer to that off rip is pretty noice imo
@@MadolcheGabbana o that’s cool I always thought Sign to the future was a Christianity reference I didn’t know that was also from Lovecraft There are Eldritch horrors in the background of the art so that makes sense Hell even looking closer at the cross there are little symbols on it So that’s honestly something that flew by me for years yee
Inferno is banned. Long live inferno. It's absolutely wild that a card like that survived for more that 1 month into the game. I loved to play inferno too because it honestly felt like cheating the system.
@@IlCremo I’ll miss playing it in the competitive format I enjoyed the rush of the game either ending with me winning or losing because I decided to got for the combo But it would just come down to if my opponent had a way to stop me or not Or if they could kill me first or if I just don’t see my pieces So it was almost always a fun time in my book I could see it one day making a return (just hopefully never with an errata) I can always play it in alternate formats at least too yee
@@shucongfu3689 Yea I don’t think a ban list of any size is a bad thing for a game Those cards should stay there as a reminder of what to avoid going forward If the power level rises to where a card can come off (Sherry as a Prime example) then they can come off If they want to reimagine the card then do similar to what YGO does with the Retrains Same card in spirit but with a more balanced effect It is just reusing artwork to me instead of bringing the spirit of a card back to the game
@@RustinWW I can understand they want to reuse the artwork again just to save cost, but the way they nerfed the cards are just ridiculous. Most of the card coming out of the banlist this way are just completely unplayable and non-sense. I'd rather they keep the cards in the banlist and let them out when they are less powerful. Now it is just a waste of paper. As someone who is pushing the game alone in a country, and seeing there are 20 more cards being fixed this way, I can't help but bee very upset. And what makes it worse is, if you think these are bad, look at what they did to Ayu's extension rule.... completely Fking non-sense
@@Grick__rimes Ripping towards the center helps avoid damaging the corners These packs also don’t always side rip as cleanly so it’s not uncommon to just rip the corner of the pack off instead of going all the way down yee
@@ajelicits3435 Yea all of that on my phone screen was faked That set is known as one of the cheapest in the game and there are only a couple cards from it that ever saw proper competitive play and only for a short time yee
@@danp6436 Yea the first card that comes to mind is like Guardian Dragon so you can have quickcast ramp Card is pretty cool but just not super popular in the meta yee
