After the patch yesterday my stormbringer was still granting me +1 range and spawning tornados so I don’t know how “fixed” it is. Granted it was slow and not viable to level but I was still getting passive range xp.
Finally, fishing is back! I actually put off playing Core Keeper again because they had taken away the fishing minigame! I loved memorizing the patterns to each fish, and being able to tell what fish was on the line before I caught it. That made fishing so much more rewarding and satisfying than, cast line get fish. Yes, I'm 100% serious, no joke. I'm the weirdo who loves fishing in video games. I love experimenting with lures and bait and super challenging mini-games are my jam! I also fish in Stardew Valley, and maxed out the skill in my first year! I may be the only oddball in the community, but I am very happy that Legacy Fishing is back in Core Keeper! Thanks for the update Jade!
Dude i went on this journey for this armor...... i found the 3 big mazes but the little temple i could not find at all. I literally spent like 5 hours looking for it all over the place. I found like 4 lava biomes where the temple should be but it wasn't there.... i was doing grid searches and finally found the freaking thing like a pixel away from where i had already looked.....i cleared up to 800 blocks away from my core in the entire desert..... was frustrating
I just started playing again about 2 weeks ago. But I remember when I first played grounded. Some of the items where unusable yet so I stopped playing.
For those that dont know, Nintendo only filed these Patents in May, almost a year after Palworld has been out. The judge I am guessing will side with Pocket Pair on this. Also, this is a reaction I am guessing to the news that SONY and Pocket Pair have teamed up to make their own "Pokemon Company". To do Animes, games etc. This is a direct challenge to Nintendo, amd I am guessing this is their way of trying to fight back. With Sony behind Pocket Pair, the fight for Nintendo has gotten much bigger. They ignored others using similar mechanics because they were not a threat, not because they were nice. Palworld is a big threat to Nintendo because they refuse to innovate. With Sony's backing, they could be so much bigger too. Those who defend Nintendo don't understand how bad for gaming it would be if Nintendo wins. It means you can't innovate with similar mechanics, and variety/innovation because stagnated. Game Mechanics should not be Patented. Look at the Nemesis system from Shadow Of Mordor. No one else can use it for another 11 years... It is an amazing system, that would have breeded many good games, but they cant use it... dumb. This is just the begining, but I think this will die down and Nintendo will give up. This will take years, and until then, Palworld will grow, and Nintendo will have to accept it.
Hoping we get more farmer gear if I'm not mistaken shirt, pants, and shoes pretty much the only thing missing for large Harvest, golden, or more seeds Also something here would be nice something that increased drop rate
@@marchfifth1754 When they say adjusted they are being obscure, oftentime to avoid using words like "reduced" or "nerf" so it sounds better in the patch notes and gets less opposition. Maybe it isn't reduced, maybe its increased or they fiddled with generation but kept it even -- but when things are obscured, better to interpret as the worse option because it usually is. And if it's not then you get pleasantly surprised.
As much as I Love Nintendo and Pokemon but I will NOT GOING TO TOLERATE THEIR BULLYING TACTICS against small indie gaming companies like Pocketpair and Palworld and suing them for patent infringement, I've already downloaded Palworld on my PS5 to show some Love and support to Pocketpair.
Luckily, the stormbringer not being able to level range skill is not so bad since if you get the Ricochet shuriken and then trap some shrooman brutes in a straight line and use the pierce shot with the Shuriken you can level range skill EXTREMELY fast. But if you dont want to risk the shrooman brutes dying when you are farming them you can either use materializers or you could use 2Zpoint's strategy. He showed in his powerlevel video where you could level all different class skills
for a low level settup I trapped 14 shroom brutes on 7 tiles using belts and bridges to force them into 1 tile. grubzooka then levels ranged up insanely fast from there.
I personally prefer StormBringer. Clears areas easier and is an AMAZING weapon to fight with. The only downside to it, is that I can't pick up wood and floor tiles with it. Here's a build I'd recommend with the StormBringer: Cosmo armor set Ancient Gem Necklace Ancient Gem Ring Topaz Ring Core Iris Orb Lantern Morpha's Bubble Bag Once fully upgraded along with 100 levels in mining, your mining damage will be just a little over 3k, allowing you to be right over the required threshold to one-shot absolutely any wall that can be broken down. On top of that, you will have absolutely INSANE DPS. Hitting for a base damage of 2.5k damage per hit. Not even talking about the crits or triple damage hits a bird would allow you to make. The immunity to burning effects is a nice bonus too. If you REALLY want to keep the Rift Lens, then you could switch out the Cosmo Chest Piece for the Miner's Labour Suit to stay over 3k mining and you'd only lose a little bit of over-all damage, some armor and the ability from the Core Iris to generate more ore from walls. I really don't think there's another build in the game that deals out as much damage as this. And it's also the best mining build. XD
So.... here's the thing. Dragonquest and Robotrek did most of the things Pokemon did, but did them first. However: Nintendo is a joint partner in the lawsuit. Both Dragonquest and Robotrek were under the Nintendo label, which means PocketPair legally won't be able to use those two obvious IP's as examples without Nintendo countering with "We own those and do not consent to them being used here." I don't see a way for PocketPair to actually win legally. Morally PocketPair is clearly in the right here, but legally... well, laws and morality have no link so take that for what you will.
@@tokurider8802 Nexomon appears to have been released in 2019, probably wouldn't count. They'd need something that predates Pokemon Red/Blue at the very least, and probably something that predates Dragonquest as well. They could argue that trapping animals predates videogames themselves by thousands of years pointing out that we've used pit traps, rope traps, and nets, along with other such traps for several millenia and that patenting such real world counterparts in a videogame is not a new invention for the human species, but... yeah.
@@tokurider8802 Megami Tensei was also published by Nintendo (Famicon = Nintendo), so they will likely claim it too. :( That is a good example though of a prior title. Persona was 1997 so would be way after Dragonquest and shortly after Pokemon Red/Blue.
When doing a guide, I would suggest not showing off all the most OP end game stuff in the game at the same time, it had nothing to do with the topic here and it feels SUPER spoilery as I and many others try to learn and try out everything on our own, especially weapons and mounts. I was just looking for a guide as to see where more caches might spawn because in my own world I have confirmed that the meteors at least are NOT random, one keeps spawning in the same space above my base, but I have no shortage of palladium, meanwhile the caches seem busted what with the permanent stat boosts.
Have a day off pal, as long a si am not showing off end game boss or story spoilers I don't see te issue and thinks it's pretty redicoulous of you to even say it
@@JadePGC very, very weird to assume that everyone cares about the same thing.... but thanks for the advice haha, I don't need a day off I am not a content creator.
Idk what's up with Xbox or Playstation but Steam let's you keep your games even if it gets taken down from the store. I got to keep that Marvel game that's no longer available but it's still in my library
@@darkmetal2412I believe Sony is probably the one in question with keeping the games because they've been caught in the past taking media off of their customers store accounts I haven't heard anything of Xbox though but yeah on PC you don't have any of those issues you get to keep your games
I get the impression that Pocket Pair aren’t exactly worried about the lawsuit , especially now that they have some extra help from Sony , along with Microsoft and Steam being involved also , so we will see , time will tell
I have a feeling Sony is going to buy this IP and stop Nintendo. This will cause yet another challenge for Nintendo and they will have to put in the effort to make a good Pokemon game.
Your guides are amazing! Can you make class specific guides? I'm looking for something where it tells me the weapons, armor, accessories, potions, and food best for the mage class at different stages in the game. I know what boss and biome to do next but I feel like I'm not at the same progression with my mage stuff. I've been trying to upgrade my fireball staff, crafting arcane potions, and using the glow tulips to try to find good mage food. Im also working on farming out the sorcerer armor but Im not sure that all or any of this is too weak, which after dying repeatedly on certain dungeons I feel like I am too weak, dying in like 2 hits and needing like 5 hits to kill each mob in a swarm. The stage I'm in is basically just activated core and have farmed a decent amount of the 3 new biomes to try to get enough materials and loot to upgrade my gear before attempting more bosses.
deffo get lot sof teh pewpaya planst to help with ranged foods, teh firebal staff is good but very slow, betetr of trying to take on one of teh bosses that gives more chance of teh other staves, check my guides on early bosses mayeb azios? think that gives decent staff
I almost gave up on my first day playing thinking I lost my backpack items once I died, when really they were just in the gravestones. Thanks for the guide, I'll get back into it tomorrow.
