I got a Coleman 70QT cooler, and I encountered the same issue. The lid along the edges doesn't close properly, even though it's has never used. I'm quite disappointed with the quality, and honestly, I doubt I'll ever use it because it seems to be of very poor quality
Bought one from a garage sale for $10 (they were asking $15) and the corners had a little warp giving about a 1/4 in gap. Put straps on both ends at the corners and heated it up with a blow dryer real hot. Seemed to have helped quite a bit.
Thanks for posting this video. Mine has curled up too. About 1/2 inch up on each corner. It still works with a strap around it or weights on the corners but that's pretty redneck.
Same thing happened to me, but i was lucky enough to get a hold of their customer service. They are sending me a new one now. Only had it for a few weeks too and used twice.
I bought one a year ago and used it twice. I pulled it out last and gave it a good cleaning. When I closed the lid I noticed the warped lid. I remember when Coleman was a great cooler, not this one.
There seems to be a problem with Coleman and these particular 150 qt coolers. Same thing happened to mine after the 1st trip camping. No I’m the sun but just out side in general. I wonder if we could start a class action against Coleman. They got nearly $80 of my money for their crap cooler that I cannot use now.
