I am 90 years old and have sarcopenia with muscle loss, but my leg muscles are still strong due to walking. My right arm is painful and the strength is impaired, so i cannot lift weights with it. The most serious symptom is impaired sense of balance. So far I did not have any serious falls and was able to stand up from smaller falls. I do take both animal and vegan protein as well as 20 gr whey protein everyday. How can I increase my muscle strenngth?
RC lost more fat for me than RF. In the real world vs the lab/research env, once getting into Keto status, one feel much less hunger and then can start cutting the in-take fat -- in other words, extremely low carb, moderate protein and fat. This create excess calorie deficit.
OneRep, is it o.n.e. robot energy prisons? It's probably a neurology joke about people who say that they did the time when they didn't and didn't pay up. Neurology circuits like board games. Potentially they say that it's unfair that they have unwanted content online that they have but really it's just that they don't have licensed neurologists who have computer administration licenses while having the rights. Potentially people and marriage when it's about douchebag language. Like "the only way to marry a woman is with another man", but it was like "two men, two women, both singular pairs". It's super stupid when being setup for conversations with people. Another example would be horoscopes used to say that Wednesday is hump day and is the horror day of the week. Like, aquarius is on that day and the whole universe is doing a guilt free horror program; when people don't understand that it's too annoying socially to be acceptable without random douchebags.
What was the resistance program prescribed, durig the studies, in terms of rep schemes, etc? In other words, were they devoted strength and /or mass building routines?
i love this video! i had gastric bypass surgery 5 1/2 years ago, started at 402 am now down to 144 , best decision i ever made, hardly ever hungry, only gained 6 lbs during that time and it came right off! Just wish i had done it years ago! I feel so much better now! But this video really explains things.
This is now going on in those that took the covid vaccines specially mrna and coincidentally diabetes levels have gone up every year since 2020 and higher still in 2021 and so on
Ok, but what is the treatment, how long does it take for it to take effect? I've seen on the internet about the use of Bromelain, Curcumin, NAC, Quercetin to help reduce inflammation in the body from endotheliitis
Good for you. It was the opposite for me. I just verified to make sure, the records of my current diet started in December 2018. I am very low-fat, low calorie, and am sustaining it after losing over 60 kg.
12:05- why would one want to mess with drugs while active exercises can more effectively and pleasantly strengthen bone health and delay bone aging/loss .
I did OMAD, I lost 39 lbs eating a high fat diet of 60% and equal % for protein and carbs. Not feeling hungry is 🗝️ to weight loss. No longer doing OMAD, but maintaining the high fat doing 2MAD and my weight is stable.
Congratulations to you. Sadly, this diet has worked for you, but that is the extent of it. It *might* work for others, but definitely not for everyone.
You start off by saying congratulations THEN go on to say 'Sadly, this diet has worked for you'' Why sadly - as it has worked out for me? I agree it's not for everyone - so finding what works for YOU is key.@@BartBVanBockstaele
Is it true that an adult human needs actually only 46 grams protein per day? So we don't have to care about protein intake.Indeed just a seving of spaghetti without nothing on it (2 cups) will give half of your daily needs of 46 gr. Would be grateful if you could clarify this point.
Vaporizers we use with isoflurane are leaky so we cannot cut off the anaesthetic fully. There would be traces of isoflurane in the O2 supplied. I wonder if it's possible at all to supply pure O2 that way.
I have my sleeve surgery in a couple weeks and I am watching all the info I can find so I can maximize the effectiveness of the tool I'll have with this. If there's a tip, piece of knowledge etc that'll help me, I want it! Teach me sir!
@jc9876 thank you! Overall it's 7x safer than having your gallbladder taken out so although nothing is fool proof I think most of the fatalities are probably those who are extremely obese like over 600lbs where it's very very dangerous and those who did not follow the post op dietary and activity instructions.
@@jc9876and how does that 1% risk of dying (which includes those with extremely high BMI’s and complex health issues) compare with the risks of remaining obese?
@@jc9876 The risk of death isn't 1 in one hundred. It's less than 1 in one thousand, according to the 2021 Perioperative mortality in bariatric surgery: meta-analysis in the British Journal of Surgery, which looked at outcomes for 3.6 million bariatric patients. If you're serious about wanting the surgery, you should speak with a doctor about how the risks and benefits of the procedure pertain to your unique health situation.
@@jc9876if you are over weight is more scary to be like that and get all kind of illness.. believe me, you will be better with the surgery... talk to your doctor but I recomend to get bypass and not the sleave ... I did and it's all good..
Maybe it's due to the act of denervation reducing the mouse's 'superhealing' regenerative capability. Try reading: A brief history of the study of nerve dependent regeneration By Johanna E. Farkas and James R. Monaghan
Thanks for your video, why would they have used the nerve in my ankle for this test? They did say it would have tested my whole limb as my sensations are in my thigh area and calves. Is this correct? I don’t want a negative test because of them siting this in my ankle.
How so? Medical treatment is highly dependent on how different populations of groups react to the treatments. Why do specific adherents to political ideologies feel that their political beliefs are more important than facts proven through the scientific method? What ever your definition of science is, it isn’t woke. Science has been around hundreds of years before the term woke was even coined.
@@Daisynottheflower Poverty is directly linked to increased rates of obesity. Apparently discussing how to make weight loss surgery accessible for the poor = "woke" in this clown's psyche.
I would have liked more background information on radiotelemetry. Currently we are interested in measuring oxygen consumption in mice and how this is related to body temp and metabolics.
Would be interesting to see varieties of the ultra-processed food diet tested, eg without seed oils, or refined sugar, or preservatives. As it can be just the overall processing (our drinking water is technically ultra-processed too), it has to be one or more properties that have this influence.
Appreciate very informative ; am diging inthe R-Lipoic Acid & Myo-Inositol for insulin sensetivity , also for the subclinical Proinflamation done by Hyperisulinemia .
I've listened to lectures/webinars on this topic at least 10 times but WOW this was the best. So clearly explained and the slides were extremely helpful (visual learner here!).
I would think the cardiac output component in the TPR equation is not independent of preload....therefore TPR is not entirely independent of preload??? Correction on my thinking greatly appreciated
