Now, I am not a full time "youtuber" per se. I have a full time job and do not have a lot of free time, so bare with me and the quality of my videos. As my channel grows, I hope to improve the quality and content.

Adding to the crowd of grateful admirers, this video helped me massively, thank you! Interestingly, I have exactly the same bike in the UK but here's it's sold as a Carrera Crossfire.
Tony, is there a need for grease on the bolt? If so, how do you take it out? I just watched your video and followed through without considering this. Cheers!
Great video i tried to take mines off yesterday did everything exactly like you did and the crank extracting tool would not release the crank arm it would not slide off wondering if i need to hit it with sone wd40 or something to break the hold cause it's on there but thanks for the video it was reassurance that i did it right but mines is just stuck on .
Hello sir. I have the same frame, I love it. Super light. But I have a question for you or anyone who can help me. A few months ago my derailleur hanger broke (I don't know if that's correct in English) and I don't know how to fix it. The problem is that the piece was fixed to the frame and now that it's broken do I have to throw the frame away or what? I've been told that it can be welded with aluminum but I'm not sure.
Have you ever had success getiing a maxxis tire on those Bontrager wheels? It would take a KoolStop tire jack made of metal to accomplish this feat. My 19" Maxxis DHF's will not mount. So sad... I might try the tool shown here because I am getting depressed at this point. Thanks for the video.
How often and how much do you pay to calibrate those click style wrenches? I don't know, I guess if you're not a shop, any beam style is the best kind. If you're, then it is worth to pay for calibration once or twice a year. On the other hand, don't forget that on a click style wrench, anything below the 20% mark and above 80% mark are useless. So if it goes to 100, anything below 20 ft-lbs will be overtorqued (by a lot, might even break stuff) and above 80ft-lbs will be undertorqued.
@@LLF1234 since they are only used occasionally I don't get them calibrated. Always store them in their case at the lowest setting. You only need to calibrate them regularly for industrial use or critical applications, not for home use.
Hey idk if you would know or not but I have a 2015 line 27.5 and I’d like to throw some different forks on it the headtube looks like it’s straight with a slight tapper by the looks but can’t find if i need straight forks or tapered ha can anyone help ?!
@@TonyHob pretty much the same frame as the hook in this video but mine just says “line” on it the head tube does look like the bottoms tapered I think the sr forks that came stick are not tapered so was just wondering if a taper would fit I’d like to go with a better set of forks ! Thanks for getting back to me
It's designed for a straight head tube. I don't know of any adapters for it. Edit: I looked up you bike and looks like it uses a FSA 42 headset which IS tapered.
Recently got a bike that uses mechanical disc brakes, looking to change them into hydraulics but the brake and shifter levers are both conjoined. Still figuring out if its possible to convert it.
Thanks man I’m 14 and just got this car from my parents, it is the same model 1994 Nissan and I couldn’t find any videos that match my pickup and was having trouble with the radio and I came across your thank you so much man
So glad it helped. It’s nice hearing from young people that actually work on their cars. These are cool little trucks! Congratulations on the car and be safe 👍
Are you really asking, or have you never tried it? The crank and pedals hit you when you turn them 🤷♂️ Like I say in the video, this is just for a quick lube before heading out to the trail. Definitely not how I usually do a proper clean and lube 👍
FYI Amazon Canada has this Stanley cookset selling for $67.44 CAD but on 2024-06-28 it was on sale for 57% off so I snagged one for $32.77 CAD taxes in and free Prime shipping. Not sure if it's still on sale though.
I think it would still make some sense with a few extra Torx and Allen keys rubber banded to it! Or just carry a tool with fold out ones but no chain tool like a Crank Bros M10 or similar. Then one could even leave out the Allen keys that come with it...except they are kind of slick...but either way. If a person wasn't very weight or space conscious and wanted a more serious tool kit I still think this is relevant. On long treks some even carry a small adjustable wrench so why not this?
At first I was sceptical to this, I didn't thought that it can make a difference. But I decided to try as it's an inexpensive upgrade. After installing, the derailleur required some adjustment on b screw and limit screws, but now it shifts significantly better!
