In more recent years I've fallen in love with Rush Duels, jamming both the Sevens and Go Rush anime whilst casually and competitively indulging in the Rush Duel Card Game! So these will be in the app eventually? That was a curious set. You played what could be called the Lyrilusc of Rush. The deck can surprise the opponent and possibly overcome a lot of disruption. I look forward to the set, along with HERO of course!
I think we need cards like negate attack and buffered slime to go to limit 3 then we can move cards around or off the list based on if we want these decks to have to pick between powerful traps or in archetype power cards, widespread ruin could also get a limit 2 so super aggro decks like psychic have to pick between power and safety, maybe can:D to limit 3, melo:D to limit 2 and maginical miracle to limit 1, and jam:p check off the list because 2 and 3 don't really matter, call of the earthbound should also go off the list if we are restricting traps.
Here is how I would have hit Machines: Aim Eagle from 2 to 3, & Ace Breaker off the list. This forces people to use less Mirror Innovator if they wanna play Aim Eagle! ...However, I know this conflicts with Cyber Dragon. Personally I wouldn't have it Limit 3 right now. There's so many restrictive skills, it's probably fine unlimited. In any deck that would be able to play it (like Blue-Eyes), it's competing with better effect monsters like Essel & Torero. And if this gets more people excited to buy the Cyber Dragon SD, that's not a bad thing right? Put Cyber Dragon on Limit 3 when it actually becomes Tier 1, that's what I say!
It's cool that Harpies can finally play backrow removal now. However, I've been told by new players that the L & R parts of the Harpies are not obtainable anymore. If you make a new account today, you only get the middle piece apparently. This is a HUGE problem for anyone wanting to play the deck! People should bring attention to it, Konami probably just forgot. 😒
The first chunk of episodes are very... poor. At least the gameplay and how slowly they teach the rules to the viewer, but once it gets through that it gets really good.

Every looks and sound cool, but i do hope that screenshot is not 1:1 with the new design for the game, because man, it looks like those budget mobile games where they slap a png of the character you are using on the center with a bunch of options and ads around it...

About Hybridrive, time passes and it seems more and more that playing this Deck is better without Fusion Summon, but it still has problems. Hybridrive's main problem is the Dragon/Machine Type combination. There aren't many generic cards that support both Types effectively and Hybridrive support is very weak at the moment. The arrival of Hybridrive Orbuster only opens up more discomfort since it is a LIGHT Machine Monster in a Deck focused on LIGHT Dragon and EARTH Machine (don't be surprised to see an EARTH Dragon thanks to the Anime) The face of Hybridrive is definitely its Boss Monsters that aren’t Jointech or High Tech Dragon. I already talked about Hybridrive Screwdriver a while ago: a powerful Boss Monster with Floodgate Effect that can ruin any Deck if it were easier to bring to the Field and activate its Effect. The new Hybridrive Barriertail is the perfect complement to Screwdriver: it not only provides Pierce to a Deck that needs it but also gives protection to all your Dragon/Machine Monsters. Definitely a powerful duo against certain Decks that love to destroy Monsters or Jest of the Cosmos Princess itself (in that aspect, Yuhi did the right thing by using Hybridrive without Fusion Summon against Dark Meister) Other than that, it's funny that I think it's easier to fix Jointech and High Tech Dragon Decks independently than to try to fix Hybridrive's issues: this requires reworking the Deck and giving it more support that complements Dragon/Machine well. PS: The recent Anime Episode introduces Tomatosaurs's favorite Decks with new Cards that are certainly interesting. - Demolition received its own pair of Sportsdragons that not only serve to set up Tributes, but also allow you to recover Field and Equip Spells from the GY at the same time. A Trap Card with a Malevolent Catastrophe-like Effect and a Fusion Monster that requires Normal Monsters, but is a beast against Special Summon Monsters (losing 3000 ATK/DEF is a lot) - Celeb Rose, besides following the tradition of making Dark Revelation a completely useless Trap Card in the Anime, received a Spell Card that helps with the consistency of the Deck (well, Celeb Rose has a lot of Anime cards focused on consistency). However, the highlight here is the new Contact Fusion Monster: with a simple Effect, but that Fusion Monster complements well with the entire Deck and its playstyle.
I agree wholeheartedly, and both Jointech and High Tech have seen "some" meta relevancy but typically a few standout cards rather than the decks are a whole.
Ah, it's time for Berry Fresh, the spiritual successor to Love Deck. Honestly, out of the entire "Dark Matter of Phantoms" pack, Berry Fresh is the most underrated or unnoticed Deck. Still, Berry Fresh managed to place well in Events or Tournaments, proving that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover (or in this case, Artwork). The Deck itself is super consistent, you'll have almost no Bricks and the Deck complements itself well with its own cards: not only the Monsters, but also its Spell and Trap Cards. Berry Fresh Shy, Happiness Harvest and Artless are the best cards in the Deck in my opinion, with Berry Fresh Pleasure, Happiness and Strawberry Sui Generis close behind. Deck's Field Spell can even be very useful in certain circumstances. My surprise is that the favorite Trap Card ended up being Berry Fresh Swimming since I thought Strawberry Farewell would have more utility (since it can destroy Backrow and Monsters). However, the Deck has many tools that allow you to reduce the ATK of your opponent's monsters which makes the use of Sui Generis and Swimming much easier and more effective to use. The Deck's wildcard is Chemispet Parakeet, a Monster that is not only pretty good in this Deck but is also a warning of one of the problems Manabu's Deck has: it doesn't lock you into FIRE Monsters. Several Manabu cards are just waiting for a good Aqua/Thunder/Pyro Deck that can easily abuse all of its semi-generic support (it's not tied to FIRE) As for complexity, I'd say Berry Fresh's complexity is on par with Celeb Rose and Dark Matter. In that regard, it's similar to Celeb Rose: a Deck that has a lot of combo potential and plays that can lead to a field full of Monsters putting pressure on your opponent. At the same time, it has the complexity of Dark Matter: a Deck that you need to combo by playing with various specs/restrictions (especially face-down cards) to get the most out of the Deck. Perhaps this is the reason why Berry Fresh is not popular among Rush Duels's players, where they prefer to play simple Decks like Rush's HERO or have a curious trick that is not far from the essence of a Rush Duels's Deck (Dark Matter focused on Contact Fusion) Still, Berry Fresh is by far the best Aqua Deck that Rush Duels has so far and one of the few Aqua Decks that takes advantage of Maizeful Charity. Seeing as there is confirmed to be support for Berry Fresh (and Love) in the future, it remains to be seen how the Deck will improve. PS: In a week is the new Rush's Banlist and it seems that Rush's Jinzo and 7 Engine are on the verge of getting hit due to constant Tournament/Event wins. Will we see the end of Ship of Seven Treasures, limited to 1 or 2? I can see Konami limiting Jest of the Cosmos Princess in the future since it put Legend Strike and the new Mobius the Frost Monarch out of business. However, I can also see Cosmos Princess being limited, but Legend Magician/Strike being removed from Rush's Banlist to promote Legend Deck.
I really enjoyed my time with the Berries and am looking forward to playing them again, but I might need to play a few practice games to pilot them efficiently.

You mentioned pure Hero decks not doing well, and I don't know if you ever do builds by request, but is there a way you could suggest a pure neo-spacian/hero build just for fun's sake?
If we are going to receive Transamu Rainac (1600 atk) could this mean that we can get E-Heros on day 1 of fusions? As Sparkman also has 1600 atk. With fusions I mean the classics not Burst Wingman nor Neos nor Neo-Spacians. Heros are a big fan anime deck and I can see Konami putting them early in RDL
it'll be interesting if they actually do release. Go Rush in duel links before they release the dub. maybe the dub will actually be able to advertise product this time lol
For Rush it is very hard to call. Each player is so strong in their own way so I genuinely think it'll mostly come down to deck order and who bricks the least. Zeeta is probably the least likely to choke, so would be a good option, but every players has their own merits.
I think it's a shame that 5 different characters are required... this locks out Spellcasters from being played, cuz no one will pick that over Machines
Yeah it is a shame. Players could use a different skill for something like machines though, like Hammer Crush Deal, if they think making the machine deck weaker but having SAR access is better.
Only 8 players for Rush, but they're all made an impression, they all have a story behind them, whether it's : Paco who's so young, Zeeta who just qualified in WCS for TCG/Speed/Rush/MD, Giorfio who is dominating all community tournament/challenger cups, QuantumCubes who is the second most active streamer in DL speed&rush, Voltalon who is the absolute OG Rush player, Suhnrysanti who is qualifying almost every year to DL worlds funnily but first time in Rush, MokiMoki who got great success in the past in Speed. I don't know much about the Japanese players but that's such an insane cast, the duels will be interesting and we're guaranteed to have two iconic players in the first Rush World Championship Final Stage, that's amazing. The Rush final will be the introduction of the 2024 WCS : so it's going to be really huge, and we totally expect an announcement after the Rush finals. It has to be next world related : we expect Go Rush world to be announced, with a Go Rush dub date release (with the streaming platform alongside it). I don't really think they will announce Rush in paper format though, it doesn't seem compatible.
It's so much more exciting when there is a story unfolding during one of these big events and most of these players has some really interesting characteristics and dynamic amongst themselves.
