And remember, the most important part of using something like this on a person is telling them after the fact that they have been exposed to some highly toxic poison, (even if it was just wheat flour). Because they have no way of knowing if its true or not, and they would probably assume whatever it was is bad. They would then become distracted by thoughts of worry and what to do next. And of course in that moment you the ninja are either escaping or in some way taking advantage of them in their state of confusion.
Hello there sensei, I have a small query, could you tell me the dimensions of wood measurements like length and thickness that you've used for the blade, handle and scabbard as I've got the wooden pieces and one of my family members who is a woodworker can help me build one. I've been wanting one for practicing since ages and your video has inspired me. Thank you.
nice but all ready done i rather just work improve the blinding powder with ghost peppers to make very hard hit powder i train in ninjutsu make of blinding powder the "sokutoki", device blow pipe but thumb up on your video you did some hard work on make it.....
Hi James. Thank you! I am happy that you find my video helpful. I am new to woodworking, so I am making a lot of mistakes along the way. Still, I find it very satisfactory to make my own training tools, and I enjoy the process. Good luck making your naginata!
Hi Scott. Thank you. I am not making them for sale just yet as I am still testing them. I am open to making a few for people that are interested on testing them at a reduced cost.
I can personally testify to the great workmanship of this weapon - solid and lovely to handle.. I even have a bruise to prove how well it performs! Loved watching the video to be inspired by the amount of work and effort and patience goes into making this! Nice job 😍
Hi Matthew. Yes, I am thinking that others may want to have a piece like this for training, so I am considering making a few. If collectively I can get a few people interested for about 10 units, I would make them. I will keep you posted.
Hi. Yes, you are correct. Ken is a term used generically for swords. When distinguishing between different kinds of swords, ken is also the name given to these types of swords, which have straight blades, and usually two edges. These are some of the earliest types of swords found in archeological sites in Japan. The technology came from China, and later evolved into the single edge and curved tachi and katana. The name "tsurugi" is also used for these swords.
Fascinating to see the whole process from start to finish.. great information and for those who like to watch it’s the best kind of ‘unwrap’ ‘unboxing’ videos! 😃
