I bought a 998 through U Line and used it with little understanding of what I was doing, The job turned out fine but it would have been a great help to have seen this tutorial before beginning. My suggestion is that you include a DVD of this tutorial with each gun sold.

Excellent tutorial and quality guns! I'm an owner and user of Shrinkfast 998 units in my shrinkwrap business and would not use anything else... very dependable with solid construction. The price may be a little high but the cost of a boat is even higher if you use something that is more for burning weeds! 👌👍

Do you sell a type of prefab cover with an elastic around it because that’s what it looks like.
@fredA1234

That kind of looked like a prefab cover. It did not look like using regular shrink wrap with a perimeter band? Thanks Fred

I know this is a year old, they do make prefab covers you can buy. I have never used one since they are more expensive.

I've tried those poles before and they simply tip over. Very flimsy setup might hold up with an inch of snow, but a decent snowfall of 8-12 inches will be too heavy for this.
@marineman2298
@marineman2298 2 года назад
They aren't meant for snow. They are for rain. If you live in an area with 8"-12" of snowfall then you should be winterized with a solid frame and shrinkwrap.

I agree, rain or snow they are flimsy and tip over very easily although they do provide somewhat of a solution. I've watched at least 100 vids on this same subject and have yet to find the right solution for me.
