Correction “wheel vehicle mechanic “ 63B20. 2 nd echelon service on 1/4 ton - 5 ton military vehicle . Recently did service deuce and 1/2 wrecker out in Thousand Palms, California.
I never understood why they would brake apart a new chamber just to use half of it. The service side of the new chambers were everywhere, had to trash them.
bruh thats krazy, my truck wouldn't shut down when i switched the key off. saw ya video and turn the lighst off and the truck shut off. gotta be something wrong tho
Ya that’s slick! Then no need to measure and cut the end that connects to the slack adjusters right? My break pots in the front portion are always packed with mud I can’t get a cage bolt in.. what would happen if I took off that clamp closer to the axle without caging the break pot?
@@justinriben8197 if the parking spring inside was broken up good, nothing it would just fall off. If the spring is still somewhat intact, it would shoot off like a rocket. The parking spring has about 15,000 lbs of force so don’t put your face in front of the chamber when you take it off without caging it.
I'm not sure, they didn't request to fix it. Could be there's a problem with the key switch, light switch, wire in-between or data wire, or the programming in the truck could have it so the lights have to be off with the engine idk like a company safety interlock idk just guessing.
