Prof. Godbout, thank you for posting this video! Your Rainbow Connection titration demonstration/performance circa spring 2001 remains my fondest memory of Chem 102.
I would love to have this procedure if possible - we are currently working on acids and bases in Chem 12 and this would knock their socks off! czadoash@gmail.com Thanks a bunch!
Very nice demonstration! I'm a chemistry teacher as well and haven't seen this display. Any chance you could e-mail me the procedure? stevenomalley@gmail.com
Hi, I need a pH experiment to demonstrate and this would be perfect, could you possibly email me the procedure please? fkeppie@hotmail.co.uk thanks in advance!
So I'm assuming phenolphthalein was the indicator, but I can't work out what the other chemicals could be other then possibly Hydrochloric acid. Perhaps a more indepth write up on how this was done would be awesome!
Can you please tell me as a result of what did this happen? What did you use? the reason i want to know is because i have a presentation on colors and i would like to present this experiment too.. but i really need to know how did this happen... Thanks
