Welcome to Headset-VR. This is a channel aimed on covering PCVR, Oculus and PSVR gameplay. Here you will find VR gaming videos, immaturity, game guides, new releases, sarcasm, VR Modding and set up guides along with plenty of horror games with childlike screaming. I do also feature some non VR games too, along with Reshade and sometimes VorpX to enhance the experience many of these games can give you. You can also find me on Facebook @headset-VR, Twitter @headsetvrtech or email headsetvr.tech@gmail.com Feel free to support me by hitting the donate link below or go to the following URL paypal.me/HeadsetVR?country.x=GB&locale.x=en_GB
Don't quote me on this, but I don't think the steam version will make a difference to vr playability, but I'm sure you can turn off the theatre mode in Steam vr settings.
Thanks for the guide, but discord url is broken or what. Can you please check it, cant find any channels with profiles via the link in description. Thanks.
Unfortunate that most people who make these videos have no idea how to instruct others. Some of us are at the very beginning with these functions. Yours left me totally lost and sorry , of no help I could not get the game running on my quest 3. Disappointed
Step 1. start UEVR program and press the run as administrator button. now it’s running In background. Step 2. Start your game (Hogwarts) or any game Step 3. Press ALT+ Tab to switch screens back to UEVR program and choose the .EXE file of Hogswort, it will find it automatically in drop down…And Launch. Step 4. Wait for UEVR to put you IN the game 😅 *Note* You must have Virtual Desktop looking at your computer screen to work
Sorry, but this video isn't a guide on how to get UEVR working I'm afraid. This video is just to show what I did to create a profile for this game, nothing more. If you are looking for help setting up UEVR then perhaps ask for it or search for "UEVR set up guide" instead of having a veiled swipe at content creators. I can appreciate that you are disappointed because you want to play a game in VR but there are plenty of proper UEVR guides out there if you search for them. Sorry this wasn't what you were looking for.
😆 🤣 😂 ok fella, got a 2nd video next week that's focusing on gameplay but will do a short set up vid too and include an encounter with a certain silver haired villan, just because you asked 😁
I didn't manage to attach weapon to right controller. When I clicked attach right, the framwork UI just disappeared, nothing happened. I brought out the FUI again, clicked adjust, FUI disappeared again still nothing happened.
@@headset-vr6310I am using the latest nightly build versie, which I think is 946 or sth. Yes, it kept flickering, and it's hard to click the righe button. Are you saying you kept trying until you made it? I've trip so many times!
@dazta6738 don't worry, the amount of times i uninstall a game for 40-70gb, then someone makes a 6dof 1st person profile and I have to reinstall to check it, you wouldn't believe lol
Could you give to us ur profile? I tried to download profile from Discrord, but it felt really uncomplete. Menu and inGame menu din't work, inGame UI followed by my right arm and ect
UI following your right hand is just the way it is, as far as I know. A lot of UEVR games are like that, because the UI is attached to the crosshair. Menus work fine for me. Using Directx 11 and OpenXR.
Thanks for posting this! not much out on UEVRing this game yet, I've noticed. I wish the other Yakuza games were in Unreal engine :[ Its a great series
The VR mod wouldn't cause weapons to be misaligned from your hands. There's something corrupted with your profile and/or game. I would first recommend reverifying your Steam files and deleting the profile entirely, and then validate that UEVR is working properly with vanilla settings using gamepad controls. Once that is working, try reinstalling a clean profile and everything should work.
Thank you for the detailed feedback mate. This was all recorded from when I first mentioned about it. Felt it made sense to show you. Just not had time to play with it since due to work, family, etc Massive thanks for the feedback 🙏
Thanks for the great video on Returnal and using UEVR. I will wait till they do a sale price on STEAM - Right now it costs 60 dollars. Don't want to spend quite that much for a game. I have a Quest 3 controller and UEVR app installed. Nice to know what games work well with UEVR. Thanks for the short game walk through. Take care.
It doesn’t actually work in UEVR as it's a Unity engine game I'm afraid. I've not had much success with UUVR so far so I'm not sure if it's worth trying currently
It needs a really good setup. I feel 4070 is too slow for lukeross mod and stereo 3d image. Game code should be optimized too, so don't expect much from new titles and lukeross mod. In mono image though you lose depth but might gain better fps and still got full view vr, just not stereo 3d. Cyberpunk took a lot of time to get working right, but hey, it was still worth it. Good game in VR!
I guess i got my hopes up too much about being able to play it in VR. I've only got a mid range AMD GPU and his mods don't seem to work as well with amd cards, in comparison to NVIDIA cards
@@headset-vr6310 I kind of new to this also. I did read somewhere that nvidia cards would perform better with quest 2 & 3. There is also some help from vr performance kit v0.3. Not sure if it helps with SWO.
@michaeldenada7572 i used to play Cyberpunk in vr with Lukes mod and that was really good but so also was the Vorpx VR mod that had support for motion controls. Tried a few of the other real vr games and they worked well to but this one really struggled
@@headset-vr6310 Hmmmm.. Been thinking about that VorpX, but somehow I wasn't sure if it renders like zoomed screen or full VR? And also, there doesn't seem to be fresh content how it actually works on different games. Is it actually worth it? Which one performed better with CB2077?
@michaeldenada7572 i found vorpx better for cyberpunk for the immersion. Worked with last years expansion as well. I uploaded some videos of it on the channel ru-vid.comLWNf1BBCh4I?feature=share
I have to agree, I was disappointed at how poor the play was with this and that i've had to waste so much time trying to resolve it rather than appreciate it. Not as goos as UEVR by a long shot imo!
How can i set the resolution to 4000x4000 per eye. Right now it's only at 2000x2000 and doesn't look too great. I'm brand new to using the UEVR Mod, but I also tried it on Terminator today and it was automatically set at 4000x4000 per eye
It would probably be better to list your PC specs instead of suggesting other people will be wasting their money getting this. People who run this mod usually read the docs and set the games up to run smoothly. UEVR mostly uses gamepads too, I own both mods and a gamepad doesn't ruin the immersion for me, even though I thought it would.
I actually go through my specs in the video and fyi I've used real vr mods before for a number of games and never had a problem like this before, I felt it was a waste of my money. After reading his patreon, there's a number of people with AMD cards like me having the same issue. It was a minor issue last time i used real vr 12 months ago, but seems a lot bigger now. It appears that he still doesn't really consider AMD users, which obviously are the minority in comparison to NVIDIA so I'll consider it a lesson learned. If I see any updates for AMD users, then I'll post a more positive video. I never post negative videos about games or mods, but I was just so disappointed with this, because I expected a lot better. I a lot about UEVR, which does allow gamepad use for a lot of games but it also allows motion controls and even M&K in a lot of cases.
@@headset-vr6310 i used the mod with cyberpunk and far cry 6 with a 4090 a ryzen 7 5800x3d and 32 gb ram. The Performance was okay but for me it was more like using vorpx if i compare it to uevr. That it doesnt using Motion controlls its not killing the experience but the ghosting on models kill it 🤣 i think the same that this mod is a waste of money if i can get uevr for Free thats have true native 3d Support.
But thats something you can do in any VR game, it's half the point. 6DoF SHOULD mean 6DoF controllers ie VR controllers, not on a gamepad. The immersion is weak compared to UEVR imo
@@headset-vr6310 It is not actually something you can do in any flat2VR game. Many games only allow you to look around, but your head is stuck to the characters head position
@@headset-vr6310 I know what you mean and agree that his mods are very underwhelming compared to UEVR especially since he's charging 10 quid a month, but he isn't falsely advertising them as 6dof
There are still a instance were VR games or experiences have only 3dof and it reffers to the headtracking. 6dof is free movement inside the virtual space, 3dof the enviroment moves with you. Motion controllers have nothing to do when it comes to the 3/6dof definition as controllers can work in 3dof as well.
@Hoshi82 i appreciate that you are trying to explain the difference but I do understand what they mean. The mod was advertised to me as 6DoF with gamepad controls so only brought it up because you can get 6dof motion controls but with a gamepad i was like "huh?"
It was, plays great on flatscreen on ultra settings but can't seem to handle low with the mod. I'd ask for my money back if i could. Lesson learned i guess
