ABOUT ME: Grew up in New England, fell in love with storms after my aunt and uncle were driving me across country and we were a bit too close to a tornado as it crossed the highway. By 5th grade I decided to "Learn about what I feared". That would become my storm chase motto when I achieved my drivers license on the first try at age 16. From age 16-17 I would chase locally, but once I went to college, I began to go all over the country. I would eventually work with WeatherNation, covering hurricanes, tornadoes and any wild weather. I wanted to try my hand at local news and found myself at KNEP, WTHI and WSIL!
I wear many hats, in-field producer, videographer, anchor, reporter, producer, weather anchor, weather reporter, otherwise known as an MMJ, multimedia journalist.
Good to let people know the risk of storms and what to look for. the one thing i learned for flooding is. Uf the road is flooded turn around don't drown., and always have an emefcy kit with you at home and in the car.

Are you new to Tennessee? This stuff happens weekly through the spring normally. That storm looks pretty tame compared to most I've watched on my front porch.
I live in Tennessee and my house was hit by that EF3 tornado I was in the hallway and barely made it into the bathroom my house was destroyed and I believe 23 people were killed I truly feel blessed not being hurt
Good ole Tipton County ain’t seen nothing like that tornado outbreak in a while. As much as I want to see a tornado, I’m extremely glad one didn’t touch down here or in Shelby County.
Now just imagine: you're out storm chasing, and there's a tornado. And suddenly the truck with sharks drives by into the tornado... Sounds like something they could make a movie about 😏
