Thank you. They are four lovely hounds and not too challenging to walk. Although it does have its moments. I need to sure to see any cats or squirrels before they do 🤣. This was near Brigg in North Lincolnshire.
@@greytadventures it’s all about preparing the body for an influx of greyhound leaping 😂 my first 6 months with Miss Nancy she nearly had me over so many times until I learnt to be prepared! She did calm down as well to be fair. But I’m pretty sure it was her dearest wish to either pull m over or trip me up 🥰 I’ve never been to Lincolnshire look interesting!
Yes, preparation is definitely a thing. I was soooo unprepared for Sunny. My previous two hounds were pretty good on the lead but Sunny was a tank when I first got him. He had me on the ground or wrapped around a tree more than once. You have to love them though. If you ever get up to this neck of the woods you’d be more than welcome to come and have some Sunny cuddles.

Aw bless her. Yogi and Radley both just loved digging and it was lovely to see them having so much fun (even if it was at the expense of the herb garden 🤦♀️) Sunny’s not a digger at all. He might paw a piece of wild pizza out from under a hedge bottom but I suspect he doesn’t like getting dirt in his claws 🤣

@@missnancysdayoff I’m sure Sunny and Miss Nancy would have got on well. He’s a big baguette fan too. He even made an attempt on someone’s discarded coleslaw the other morning 😮
@@greytadventures 😂 he sounds like a greyhound after Miss Nancys heart, anything is fair game! We certainly had some bitter quarrels over discarded fruit cake, chocolate and sandwiches, and whilst I saw her point of view I still couldn’t agree with their consumption 😂
@missnancysdayoff 🤣🤣 I totally hear you. My biggest battle was over a wild chocolate brownie. I managed to get it out of his mouth but I had the lead in one hand and the brownie in the other and couldn’t reach into my pocket for a tissue. I had to walk to the nearest bin with Sunny still trying to score the cake and people looking at me as if I’d forgotten my poo bags 😳🤣
Sunny’s Two-Legses grew up in South Africa and Banksy’s dad is from Luton - that’s who taught them English 🤣. I do wish we could have met your Nancy. Sunny’s hoping to get to Cornwall later this year.
Wow, way to go! We each celebrate in our own ways: jumping out of airplanes, eating a chocolate bunny, whatever floats your boat---or flies your plane!
Love how they refer to humans as "TwoLegs." They are a pair of bad boys. Banksey is doing the most classic roach I've ever seen---of course, with the help of a most supportive couch. Oooo, it's a couch roach!
It's a DUCK!!! Oh those ears at full alert for the coveted squirrels & ducks. Does Sunny know that he might have to go into cold water to get one of those ducks? No, of course not, they never imagine that the duck won't sit & wait for them or that the squirrel won't climb the nearest tree. Hope springs eternal. Lovely place for a walk & some wildlife observation!
It is a beautiful area. Sunny always expects everything he wants to come to him 🤣. Poor Yogi once tried his luck with a duck and ended up belly deep in thick black sediment at the edge of a pond. Luckily he got most of it off by rolling on the grass but the car had the vague odour of swamp for a week after that little incident.
My grey's biggest complaint about me was that I was sometimes a few minutes late feeding her, despite her efforts to give me a 1/2 hour warning. And then at the appointed time, she would attack her little brother (who put up w/ it b/c it was the ONLY time she played w/him) & then either kill one of his toys or her own blanket, stopping to look at me as if, "Well? Have I done enough to get your attention or do I have to repeat myself?" I was often, um, in the doghouse on that account.
@@vintagelady1 That’s interesting because my Yogi wasn’t a rooer, well, not a good one. He actually did more of a little yip sound. He was always keen to join in though.
My grey dug a hole halfway to China, at the bottom of the steps to the back yard. If only we could channel that activity when it's time to do some planting.
Ah, the making, re-making, frantic pawing, GET that blanket out of the way, no put it right here, or maybe there or should I order something from Amazon? And finally, the crash to the ground & the look of disappointment that it just isn't quite right. AND... we start it all over again until mom yells at me to "BAILEY!!! Lay down." So we do but in such a fashion that she'll have to get up & help b/c I've stuck myself too close to the wall. I swear, if I'd put a king-sized mattress on the floor, my grey would have ended up hanging off it & looking vaguely discontented with the world. She passed away in December & I miss her goofiness every day. I'm unfortunately rather "vintage" & living alone I just can't manage a large dog; fortunately I still have my adorbs keeshond who never met a stranger & is the happiest dog on earth. And there are plenty of greyhound channels to watch, I'm putting yours into the mix. Thanks for sharing the delightful weirdness.
Aw, I’m so sorry you lost your lovely hound. Sunny is my third and I’m not sure how I’d be without one. Thank you for watching and I hope you find some joy in the videos. There are some lovely greyhound channels on here. I’m glad you have your keeshond for cuddles 🥰

@@vintagelady1 Thank you. They really are all amazing. Do you also watch @missnancysdayoff ? So sad. Her mum, Tori, lost her recently to a rare autoimmune disease. She was only 6. Such a beautiful grey. I’m lucky to be house and hound sitting at the moment so I’m surrounded by 4 gorgeous houndies.
When I was a lot younger we were five to a house, including me. All my greys roached. One girl was an opera singer who preferred solo arias and one boy liked to duet with any ol' tenor on the TV. Move over Pavorotti. The totally blind dog (both eyes damaged during a race and nobody willing to pay for medical attention) favoured his personal cave under the grand piano and I needed a steam shovel to get the eldest out of bed (mine of course). Most sighthounds seem to have these personal preferences and I wouldn't change them for all the tea in China. Enjoy your furry ones and treasure the memories. Thank you for sharing some of your hounds’ stories. They really are the most wonderful creatures. So sad how some of them are treated by the racing industry but wonderful to know so many find a happy forever home when they retire. Thank you for watching.
