On the bright side, you can just cut the drywall out and bring them down in three sections. It'd be easy for me and my help. Fuck, you'd be happy with my worst after seeing this shit. Lmao.
looks like you hired someone (probably low ball bid) told them what to do and never came back until they were about to grout . if i’m jumping with my assumptions then I apologize. but this is usually the case with things like this . 😂
I’ve done bathrooms and tile for 40 1:25 1:25 1:25 years. There is a certain amount of knowledge and skill to do a good job. You did not hire a professional obviously. Lesson learned.
Nice to see the helper we let go of has gone off on his own to make a fortune. Funny how unqualified installers always manage to get a few projects. I wonder what kind of price point hires people like this 😂.
Hate to say it but I’ve seen MUCH worse….. they used F26 to glue the tile to the sheetrock….. the curb was a treated 4x4 they left exposed…. The woman lost thousands in tile alone. But yeah…. That one is crap too.
Everyone complaning you get what you pay for just shove it. I bet this guy was easily within 10% of the median price being asked in the area. Yall are just charging outrageous prices across the board and its difficult as hell to judge based on that anymore.
lol you're a terrible superintendent/GC. Tilework is only done by someone you can verify does a fantastic job. Its a very difficult thing to do amazing and really a jr cannot make tilework perfect like a master can. You can get away with a rando for drywall that kind of stuff because mistakes can be fixed and mudded over, over and over again until its right, but tile has to not lip, be perfectly level and plum so that corners grout line are perfect size, bevels and shit cut perfect so they don't look chipped. You deserve every failure you get if you hire rando tile guy without verification he is a journeyman level in construction in genera.
Omfg I mean my first day tile job in our basement bathroom has some glaring issues but holy guacamole this is beyond terrible. This was a professional contractor? How is that possible.
