I own a tuna rail gun and was gifted a MVD roller head. I watched this video and to drill the hole he first suggested that you need a 3.3mil drill bit. Then he suggested that he should have used a 4mm drill bit. I have the 4mm drill bit from attaching the anchoring screw at the grip of the gun. Can I use a 4mm drill bit to drill the hole for the screw already in the gun. Making sure before I even take it apart. Which size hole punch and screw would I use.
will this work well with spearshafts that do not have the shark fin? becasue I think the rob allen shafts generally come with the cut notch not the shark fins
It works fine with both, I have used both notch and finned shafts. I ma currently running 174ph Triple Finned 7mm Cressi shaft and I am very impressed with the it,
Cockpit TK, enter off yea link road by the creek to start at the bottom. Once you get to the top can cross straight onto Blowhard TK. Wont be getting up this track with out minimum 35's and lockers at the moment, this video is like the eastern freeway in comparison to how it is at the moment.
How is it sealed off by the O ring if the O-ring lines up with the hole. That would allow water to go right around the O-ring. It seems like it would be better to have a conversion head that is made specifically for the Rob Allen so that it uses the same hole.
Sorry for the late reply, Rob Allen Barrel are bung sealed so you don't even need the O-ring seal. In the current MVD head has had the O-ring moved 3 mm to clear the whole. Other brand on the market don't have sealed barrels so it is important in those models and brands.
