Thanks for posting. Interesting listen. 4 is Heaven, 5 is No Eden. 8 & 9 have a different vocal take to 6 & 7. 11 just sounds like a muffled copy of 3.
Wonderful track, it was a hit in German-speaking countries, I believe. I don't know why the follow up single 'Heart Begin To Beat' is impossible to find, the original 7" and 12" and the Chicago-house Remix. Thankfully, I have the casette and a mp3 file
@@martin_minimalwave I used to listen to a radio station from Baden Baden in the mid 80s and they played this song a few times. i don't think I heard it anywhere else. Glynnis, the singer, was in a project called Angel Chorus after Savage Progress. I think they released only one single 'Devil On My Shoulder'
@@Aloha808 I think that it was also played on other radio stations, especially here in the Berlin area RIAS or SFB it was their most famous single ++ NDR2
Me and my dad were watching a summer special of totp 2 and this played dad started getting emotional because he didn’t here this song for a ages and he remembered telling his mum ( which was my nan who died in 2020 ) this song because she heard it and said I like this who is it I miss here very dearly love this tune.
LOVE Debra Dobkin's percussion and vocals in this appearance...and I wrote that BEFORE I heard the Flat Horizon (26:28 29:05). She's fabulous...and unfortunately, I only know of her from this and other Wang Chung vids. Yet she makes no mention of these gigs in her otherwise rich and fullsome website bio. The whole band is incredibly tight and well rehearsed...what grooves!!...yet Dobkin provides the je ne sais quoi that takes a fine gig and ELEVATES it to a whole 'nother level, without her it would be good, but with her it's great.
