Dave is an adventurer with a few world records who lives at aHe has travelled over a thousand miles on fifteen different types of transport, broken a few distance world records on skateboards and paddleboards and the like, and he was once captain of the losing team in the longest ever game of five a side football. It was something like 732 - 524. Really annoying to lose after a 46 hour game. These days Dave runs a campsite in Lincolnshire with things like converted buses and alpacas.

My dream is to ride coast to coast USA. Now that I am retired, Maybe that can happen! My plan would be to start in my hometown in Central Michigan, take as many rail trails to Chicago and ride route 66 to California, then turn and go to Jacksonville, Florida. I have a bicycle I really love, A Brentwood. I believe it would be better to do this trip on a recumbent but I'm torn between Delta or Tadpole. Thanks for your videos and any advice you or your viewers could give me. Ride safe!
I cycled from UK to Aus on a recumbent trike. No sail. And it was always so comfortable to sit and pedal for hours. Then have a lunch on bike or snooze!!
Да,привычка держать жестко руль после обычного велосипеда ,долго уходит . Физика просто иная. Очень интересно. Горжусь тем что тоже пробую ездить на рекумбенте. Не смотря на то что у многих в умах деньги,есть люди с мечтами,они выглядят по-идиотски,но именно они становятся героями в истории,а не те кто копит денежные знаки ради обогащения. М ы приходим в этот мир голыми и уходим голыми ,а остается только что формирует личность

I was interested to see how recumbent trikes are at going uphill. Unfortunately, virtually all your footage is of you going downhill or on the flat. What's all that about?
I guess it was easier to film on the flat and way more fun going downhill! Uphill is very slow, not as easy as a normal bicycle where you can put your weight into the pedals. This isn't a full product review, just a little adventure. Plenty of reviews on the ICE or other trike pages. Good luck :)
"Finnsnes ....just at the northern edge of Lofoten islands ....if you haven't heard about it just Google it....." Haha....that was a good one....where you meet yourself in the door.....asking others to orient themselves.....while actually you are the only one who need to google Lofoten and find out where it is located. Finnsnes is nowhere close to Lofoten. Hurtigruten uses something like 15 hours from Finnsnes to reach anything that is within the region of Lofoten....!!! Driving along the road it is 307 km to the nearest point within Lofoten. Didn't you have something called a map with you on the trip? So to help you a little .....look for the nearest point in Lofoten which are to be found in Vågan kommune ( with Svolvær as centre). Google it and see for yourself that you are completely lost.
