Lyrics: I've got a gal, away 'cross town She won't come to see me unless I pull my shades down Paralyzed, paralyzed She puts her arms around me, the way she squeezes me Makes me paralyzed When I go to the show Boy she does make a fella bestow Paralyzed, paralyzed When I look into her eyes, she makes me paralyzed I threw my baby in a sack Threw it over my back And took off in a big black Cadillac Paralyzed, paralyzed She puts her arms around me She keeps me warm from the storm She makes me paralyzed I ran to the 'frigerator Hungry as an alligator I opened the door, and what did I see? I saw my baby starin' right back at me Paralyzed, paralyzed She jumped into my arms She gave me all of her charms She makes me paralyzed
I played drums for the Vagrants 1965 _1970. Later played with The Third World Rock group and the American Squeeze.Today I'm a evangelist and missionary to HAITI Roger Mansour
Roger, I’m honored to hear from you! The Vagrants are one of my favorite bands! Good luck to you and all your endeavors. Love to hear some stories about your days with the band. dansgarage1960@gmail.com
Much more of a garage than either of The Monkess' versions, of course. A decent attempt at the song's iconic guitar solo. I put it in my Monkees playlist. Thanks for the upload!
OK, that’s good to know cause I guess they were a really really good band. And there was another really good band from Benton Harbor Michigan. They were called the 5 Empress. I guess Saint Joseph Michigan and Benton Harbor, Michigan the Twin Cities really really rocked way back in the 1960s.
Muy buena versión a este tema de los Rolling Stones, cuando los Rolling eran mágicos y fabulosos con Brian Jones y ese sonido tan especial que tenían con él en sus filas.
