Hi... I did try using other candles with this method & I couldn't find anything else that worked unfortunately. There is a method that you can use to 'float' items, but it is a little involved. If you look up 'Tiny Dragon Studio' on YT, you can find a range of tutorials on glitching. HOWEVER... in saying that, we're all hoping that S6 will announce a Halloween event any day now, so we might get lucky & the Halloween floating candles & pumpkins might be back really soon!!!
Hi, first off I love your videos. I have been wondering what the name of the bookcase/shelf that looks like it's part of the Honestead set that you can see in the corner at 0:57. It's not craftable and the wiki doesn't list it. I've tried watching other people who show off furniture but no luck of it's name mentioned. I would also love to know where you got it from if you remember.
Hi!! Thank you so much for your kind words. The timber bookcase, is the Homestead bookshelf, but the image you will see at the crafting bench & on the wiki is actually differnt. The original concept art shows that the bookcase features glass doors & 2 x drawers at the bottom, but the actual item doesn't. It is a little deceiving & to be honest a tad annoying that the artwork for the craftable don't always match the final item. But I love the game so much, that I've learnt just to accept it now LOL!!!

Hello! Thank you so much for the love! This is Palia, it's a free to play game on Steam. I have been playing since Dec 2023 & I am mildly addicted to it. There's lots of gameplay videos on YT if you wanted to check it out first.... but I highly recommend it.
I've actually been using a similar but different method to float these candles. All you need is the winterlight candle and an item that doesn't normally allow stacking. The height of the candle depends on the item you use. For ex. the kitchen prep station. It does not normally allow you to place regular items on it, but you can place the candles on it. Then all you have to do is remove the prep station. I often use plushies or lamp posts to get different heights. It's also a switch friendly technique. Basically the winterlight candle can be placed on top of most any surface though it may take some wiggling around. Probably because it's an ornament. I hope my explanation makes sense. 😅Sorry for the long message. I don't really have the means to record and demonstrate it. But you are welcome to see how I use them on my plot. They are at the entrance and the water fountain in the back. My username is Zenni.

I'm so glad you to hear that helps. Sometimes you can have a vision for a build but struggle to actually put it together, that's why I wanted to start the 'STEAL MY BUILD" series; it allows people to take ideas from what I create & make something of their own.

@@misspeach_aus That is really great, actually. I've thought about trying to make a flower ceiling and I still may lol but I'm on switch and it's difficult to say the least. 🤣 I am getting better though! I love your videos so far, keep it up! 🫶

@@kseniiamedkova1320 Hi! I know… but like myself, there are lots of players who didn’t start playing Palia until after the Halloween event last year. Those candles were only available during the event, so we’ve had to improvise. Heres hoping S6 will bring them back this again this year, because I for one realllllllly want them for a future build I have planned.

Nawwww! Creativity is something we all have, we just use it in different ways.... & I'm sure how ever you choose to use yours is just as amazing if not more so, because it's unique to you. So don't be afraid to explore it, I know something incredible can come from it! 💜
