Apart from all the super fast parts (played with unbelievable precision) one big detail should not be left without commenting which shows how great Marco Sfogli really is. There is that simple melody between 00:32 to 00:38 where you think: oh ok, cool melody bro... and not much more to it, right? Now pay attention to how many grace notes Marco had put into it to enrichen it and bring it to another audible level. Plenty of slide-ins to a note, vibratos and hammer-ons. Whenever I try to play it I am amazed at Marco's playing level - this kind of grace note frenzy is surely how he plays stuff on a regular basis whereas for a mere mortal you have got to put plenty of effort to learn to play it like that. This song is a true GEM for those who understand guitar. For somebody who doesn't play electric guitar this would be just another song on the radio but for a guitarist on a certain level this is a mind opener and should be taught at music shools or at least presented as a curiousity.

Dude his playing is impeccable live! Usually, YT guitarists will pre-record their session and just play along with the recording as a visual. This guy sounds exactly like his videos.

Great that you're giving TOOL a try and you have a very positive vibe. It's too bad the music wasn't louder for us viewers so we could enjoy the journey with you, but if I understood correctly, you were not sure of what you were doing. That's no problem. You have to start somewhere. I'm glad you liked the album. I hope you can figure out how to give us more volume the next time you make a video and hopefully you can visit some of TOOL's older albums and make more videos. Cheers!
Hey thanks for the support! Really appreciated the comment! I thought that copyright strikes could knock on my door with louder volumes :s so I kept it super low and put the progress bar just to let people know where I was with the listening. Now I'm thinking that was a stupid solution ahahah. Probably I'm going to do this with upcoming albums (opeth probably). Thanks!
