I am a Grandmaster Smite player and have been playing since Beta. I played in the Challenger Cup in season 2 (peak of my competitive experience :( .....) reaching Semi Finals as well as winning some other local tournaments. Following this I've played nearly every season reaching minimum of Masters in Ranked Conquest and Duel with the odd Joust thrown in there.
I do play other games but the content will mainly be Smite/Predecessor related especially with the announcement of Smite 2.
My Hobbies are Gaming, Cars, Motorbikes, Mountain Biking as per the odd video etc.
Yea they aren't the best to be honest buttttt it is closed Alpha & because of that the game feels kinda bad playing on any higher graphics on my PC so I do have basically everything on low. Like I'm sure other streamers and stuff with better set ups have the game on higher graphics settings and it does look a bit better. I'm not to worried about graphics on the whole though I just want more Gods ASAP. I get they are working on it but just feel like there should be more gods released from Smite 1, maybe they could of put like 35 gods in or summin straight away then gone from there?

Hey broski good vid but I would recommend out your game volume up or so back ground music. Also a noise suppression will go along long due to hearing the breathing and clicking the key board is all I can hear

on jhin you q does more damage when you are on your last shot so its good to use it and quick follow up with an auto when poking it burst like crazy, also does more damage on minions if it kills the previous one, helps with wave clearing a lot. And your w only snares after you or one of your teammates hit them so its better to save your mana for when janna engages or for a gank then to poke with it it doesn't do much damage early game unless you get a mark and just want free poke its good for that too.

Ashe adc was good with the lethal tempo rune, but it's been removed. PTA is aight but lacks attack speed. not to discourage you or anything, but the best thing you can do with this game is not play it.

@@blaze7386 yea I get what you mean in some sense. I can’t speak on the company vibe as I have no idea of course haven’t really played the game long enough. I know smite can be a bit similar community wise or at least some people think that way. The lol community I have noticed is by far the most toxic in terms of people in game, that being said I think it has something to do with how big the game is. Like because there are so many players it’s inevitable I guess that some people are shit heads😂 can’t tar everyone with that brush tho I guess
That's because they made Serath Angel with the mace, a Jungler only when she was originally a carry, and the other carries are being held back by others. Yin has a whip, Wukong has a staff and clones himself every time he hits an enemy. Zinx just got released, so now all that's left of the OGs is those 2 so now they have no choice but to add both carries.
@@creepycorner01 thanks mate! Yea league has been good the player base can be a bit more challenging sometimes as they seem to be a bit saltier but I think it’s mainly because of the size of the game and the larger player base in general lol. You going to jump back into smite when smite2 comes out?

Smite is soo fun but all my freinds who played it stopped and I began to get bored of the game wanna get into smite 2 but idk I figure it’s just gone have the same feeling has smite now (I also luv jihn)
@@thegodlygamer2272 yea jhin is sick probably one of the most nuanced Adcs I’ve played in lol so far. Think i still prefer the straight up on hit crit adcs like jinx but he’s dope. Honestly I feel smite 2 will either like re energise the game and help the game grow or kill smite. It all depends really how hi Rez play it with competitive, bugs, gameplay changes etc. from what I’ve seen so far the changes they are making have all been really positive. The new item system is more like leagues as well as other things. The game is more fun with friends 100% unless you get into ranked and then play ranked duel Which I find fun on my own doing 1v1s but I am probably a psycho as my mates hate the mode lol

If you like that type of game aka mobas/overwatch style shooter movement smite is the best of both worlds or jump on when I’m online if you’re eu! Such a fun game wish it was bigger as someone who’s played smite for like 10 years lol

@@Thecoomzoom it’s similar in the fact that it’s a moba and some abilities are similar but there are quite a few big gameplay differences other than the obvious of everything being skill shots and camera angle. Smite feels a little bit less like a chess match and strategy isn’t as important especially not in casual/ranked games where as I’ve found in lol if you’re out of position you die. Download it and solo Q, there are also a good few discord servers for smite and everyone for the most part is really sound!
@@Thecoomzoom yea the jungle camp leashing and sharing XP is way more important. Like you’ll go to mid and split waves etc but in lol you don’t need too. Quite a few different tbf

@@Red39x Yeah, yeah. Whenever I get a notification from the Nvidia app, I'm updating right away. Who knows. Could be Smite servers (it's known they have issues over the years). Could also be my hardware in general, that is failing after all these years. On the other hand, It haven't noticed such a thing on other games like Valorant, Predecessor etc.

@@3dock694 yea Smite 1 is dying tbf. Expected with the release of smite2 though and a lack of development team. However they have done some good updates recently to re energise the game a bit. Smite2 doesn’t really need to be different to the original. It’s got some differences to make the game a bit fresher and the new engine which is all it really needed anyways. Whether that’ll save the game or not we’ll have to wait and see. Coming back to this video now though and looking at both predecessors twitch view count and smites view count for example they are both super low and a bit depressing to be honest. so who knows maybe the rumoured valve moba will blow up and take over?

@@3dock694 yea I agree. League and dota have each other to bounce off. Even had HOTS at one point which was taking some players away from both games. Smite is in such a weird situation atm tho with them basically killing Smite1 but not having Smite2 ready and releasing the game for alpha weekends where the game has been borderline unplayable to the point I haven’t even bothered playing the last weekends. Crazy really. Hopefully pred grows too and gets a bit of a bigger player base too. I don’t actually know the player base figures on pred but as I said prior the viewership on both games rn is super low which is worrying.
I played a few hours of LOL pretty much a decade ago I'm gonna say? Couldn't get into it like I did with Smite. Could never get used to the controls and the scrolling in particular.
@@robynrox yeah I know what you mean. It is hard to get into almost doesn’t feel like you’re playing a game or more of like a strategy game but it is fun when you get into it it’s just quite a high learning curve in terms of the click to move and map movement tbh

Anubis wins 90%of the time I'm sure. The issue with Tiamat is that she has no early pressure and even though she can interrupt the Anubis 1 she doesn't have the early pressure to compete I don't think. If you get full CD on Tiamat and start to come online she does well but you just gotta make sure you don't fall to far behind on her and play safe early.
Yea I think Bastet is top tier atm and it probably is better tbh but I like going a trans for the mana mainly because you’re spamming so much so will trade the extra dmg to be able to throw more abilities if you get me? The soul eater is just personal preference really lol
its a good game with potential, the movement is really good and the combat is decent, that being said I'm not sure what to think of it in the long term. I just really hope the devs keep improving the game, releasing new characters and making sure the balance of the game is good & hopefully it keeps going strong.
I’ve been playing Predecessor once it came to PS5 since I played Paragon on Launch till last day of the server being open…. I tried Smite. Horrible. Tried League Of Legends. Not enough substance for me and to easy to make someone rage quit. Over watch stayed a contender till OW2 and overall lost my interest. Predecessor gave me serotonin the moment I picked Gideon and obliterated the enemy my first match and instantly gave me some of my most precious memories of paragon only to be led be a devastating ass whooping the next game to humble me and gave me back my lesson from paragon to not chase and cave into the mental toxicity 😂 like I love this game idk what your on but Predecessor is ultimately the best moba in my book and I haven’t even played Marvel Rivals yet and I’m sure that game will be a worthy contender but for now Predecessor gets my support no matter what 🫡
Yea fair enough mate. Everyone has their own opinion on it. Currently league of legends is my favourite however can imagine that changing once Smite2 comes out but with how underwhelmed I felt playing the alpha hoping it’ll improve. Marvel rivals will also be a nice change once that releases
It's pre-alpha at the moment and in a month it's releasing in alpha, they've basically also said the game is no where near finished atm in an interview I listened to. As it clearly has shit loads of work to do, I think they just wanted people getting excited for release and testing it to give feedback etc, but for now it's not worth playing unless you're someone who enjoys 'testing' games in these early stages.
Yea that’s facts to be honest. As you said unless you enjoy finding bugs and working your way through the game it’s not that fun. Don’t get me wrong it’s not awful and it is playable & i guess you just need to constantly remind yourself it isn’t a full release which can be hard to do sometimes. Is the game releasing in alpha phase then moving to beta etc? I’d assume so?

I've been given an invitation to try this; I was all set to buy in this weekend and all, so that's great! Hopefully I'll get a chance at it tonight. Like coming out of four years of retirement as I haven't played Smite since S6, but I can see that the gods still pretty much work the same (I know there are a few changes like Kuku's 2 in one of his tornadoes becomes a dash).
That’s dope, yea deffo give it a go. Just a warning tho remember it is an alpha as you can definitely tell & the servers can be a bit dodgy but otherwise it’s fun and just takes some getting used too. Yea biggest change is hades can use all his abilities whilst ulting is the biggest for me lol good luck broski
