I'm Dan and this is Garage Slotnik a channel for tuning and testing out cars on my track and showing you some of the projects I have on the go. Hope you enjoy. You can also find me pickin' guitar @ youtube.com/@danjuke55?si=ni7BbEhE_FyG-6T0
@@garageslotnik Gotcha. I bought a Ninco as my first venture outside Scalextric / Carrera but the pinion was cracked so waiting on a replacement. Other than that it looks like a beautiful car. Hoping to post results soon.
Nice layout dude, and really nice car, you really have to show us how you tuned those cars, not just tease us on how good they run 😂 Carrera Track Looks a lot better painted, I’m running policar track 😊
Hey man, magnet out, glue the rear axle in. Put some blu-tac along either side of the chassis and wherever else you think needs weight. Then lower the body posts with a file or dremel to get the body lower on the chassis. Loosen the body screws off a bit so the body rolls on the chassis. File the chassis sides if needed to create some space between the body and chassis for more roll. That's about it.
It's good to see a straight-out Carrera Evolution analogue track and not a digital one on a RU-vid channel. It looks to have both technical and speed sections to it, making it interesting to drive. What sort of paint did you use for the repaint? Looking forward to seeing the finished paint job on the Commodore.
Thank-you, I'm happy sticking with analogue. I used Rust-oleum grey primer. Check this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XjH3yHLjHyU.htmlsi=cUOVqU8cWww_eP-M
