can you use a 5 qt bottle of full synthetic and a 1 qt of dino oil to create a syn blend that you know is mostly sythetic, will the sytheticc fix the conventional and clean that up
Yeah women drive faster especially from stop to go. I consistently get an average of 23-24 mpg in my 2022 lariat powerboost. Some of my trips are up to 28mpg and I usually get around 675-715 miles out of one tank.
Have had this happen across every single brake pad brand, different caliper jigs when the caliper was made, different jig when the brake pad was made, anti-rust coating, anti-rust coating on the caliper, there's lots of different things that account for that, it's actually up to the mechanic to make sure that the brake pads fit properly by filing them down if necessary.
i have a 2022 ford f350 7.3 godzilla and i've had issues from day one with two new trailers! people also mentioned using dialectric grease but i would still get the occassional "trailer wiring fault", "trailer disconnected" and then i found out ford had a RECALL on the trailer brake controller software! my build date is outside of the build window but i have all the symtpoms so im taking it in this monday to habe them possibly update the software. this is an extremely serious issue when pulling heavy !!! the more i look the more i find owners with similar issues
You don't need to do any of this, You can disconnect the leads on both batteries (doesn't hurt the computer at all, also, for your knowledge, he's disconnecting the mass air flow sensor without disconnecting the battery, which is definitely not a good idea unplugging and plugging it back in) and the entire outfitter box comes right up out of the truck with the two tabs. You have more than enough room to get the cable off the bottom and work with it literally no problem whatsoever. This is a ton of wasted work and I'm sure he charge the customer hours of Labor to do this.
I dont understand how lifting the front of these trucks is such a gd mystery. I have a 2000 f350 and have yet to find a definitive way to lift the front of this thing with a shop floor jack.
@@DS-TRUCKS Some say lifting by the diff is wrong(could damage the cover or whatnot) but really where else are you going to lift it? Then theres the jack stand locations. Just an unedited video of safely lifting a 1999+ SD 4wd front axle with a floor jack and placing it on jack stands would be awesome. Thanks for the quick reply!

How are those rear leaf springs since they now use less leafs due to better spring steel? My 2001 7.3 has 5 plus an overload and rides pretty smooth and the truck only drops an inch with a 6200 lbs bobcat on a short steel trailer. Anyone else here have the same approx. 1" drop with the newer springs or do more leafs need to be added to the newer trucks?
DS, At about the 15:23 mark, is there supposed to be that much flex between the wheel and backing plate? Something doesn't look right there. I'll have to look at mine tomorrow to see if it has flex like that also.
DS, Check out the fiberglass fish rods at Lowes or HD for fishing your wires. They are easier to use than the fish tape that unrolls. Nice install, going to use your access point under the seat in the next day or so, to add a 12 volt outlet and usb outlet under my dash mount up on the center of the dash. I did not know about the under seat access hole, thanks for showing this.
i have penzoil ultra platinum 5w30 and a motorcraft filter $7 and i can tell just by looking at it after 1k miles and its still pure gold and i got the 5 qt. bottle for $20 and i used the super tech advanced synthetic 20k mile oil for the 6th qt. for $5 and i can tell you its way better than the syn blend from ford cuz i wanted to get full synthetic in my truck asap so it was like $35 for some kick ass oil the ford oil from the factory at 5k was black my 2nd syn blend was quaker state i changed that at 3k and it was black so i'm gonna say that penzoil ultra platinum is the best oil i've ever used and i would say amzoil is the best you can buy but its like $20 a qt. and i aint the one , so ill change the penz at 7k and see whats up
Well you get Max mileage and power out of an EcoBoost to be around 93. The engineered on my way. Or you can be like me. You run a tombs of your stuck running 93 which is better in the end
My 2023 Ford Ranger came with blend from the factory fill - dealer changed it to full sny at about 1,700 miles first oil change - now the dealer is offering oil change deals using blend - should I go back or keep syn when I hit 6,000 miles ?

Full synthetic oil only guarantees that there’s 25% of synthetic oil in the container or less you have to get 100% synthetic oil if you want it all to be synthetic
