The Bee Gees also created film music in the film Saturday Night Fever and Grease, where the emphasis is on dancing (John Travolta, Olivia Newton John, etc..).
1997 Auto-Tune is audio processor software released on September 19, 1997, by the American company Antares Audio Technologies. It uses a proprietary device to measure and correct pitch in music. It operates on different principles from the vocoder or talk box and produces different results. Not available in 1979 when this video was released.
Oh Edwin. Auto-Tune was invented the year before you were born...1997. I guess it's impossible for people to hear actual really great voices since everything you listen to is fake.
Listen to the songs they sang before they were teenagers. You will know this is them nothing phoney or fake genuine talent they wrote music and words to many songs for many artists
It gives me so much happiness watching young people reacting and feeling the happiness, the emotions we felt growing up with this music and Bee Gees were my favorite band .. also loved Andy Gibb.
No auto tune. The Bee Gees were my teenage crush. Im 62 now and they still give me chills. My heart broke when Maurice and Robin died.. i will forrver love their music. The best...
I love that you loved it.. This song was released in 1979, Auto Tune was invented in 1997… What you listened to was Pure Unadulterated Talent.. Everything Bee Gees was lit 🔥
l the artists from my generation were Truly originals and before technology overrode or wrote over the vocals like they do today. I enjoy watching you young folks discover music from the 60's through the 80's
Autotune did not exist back then. Had a live event you got what you got. These guys have been doing this together for decades Since they were children and are brothers. You can hear in the last third of this song where he modulates upwards. He starts going flat on some of his high notes. Autotune would take that out, and you’d lose some fulness in the tone.
