We're a church for people who don’t go to church-where you can belong before you believe and you've got permission to be in progress. We’re big on being real. We bring our questions, struggles, hang-ups, doubts, disappointments, and failures. We meet on Sundays at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:0 at 300 West Main Street, Babylon, New York.
Our service lasts about 60 minutes and includes live music and teaching. If you're joining us in person, we recommend arriving 15 minutes before services begin in order to park, get your kids checked in, and grab bagel and coffee. We're casual around here, so wear something comfortable.
You can also stream all of our services live right here on our RU-vid channel.
I’ve been experiencing this in my life as of late. Ive felt somewhat defeated. Questioning myself. I was allowing it to steal my confidence. I prayed on wearing the full armor of God. This part 2 fed me the food I needed to nourish my spirit. I was very inspired because I follow Him and my love and correct thinking was restored in a great way. Thanks, Tom.
I’ve listened to you cut this song pretty often. On RU-vid and on stage. From the register change, the hints of vocal gravel and tremolo. It’s such a clean beautifully sonic rendition of this classic that it truly honors Jesus in the only way one can try to. Occasionally you’ll make “little of your voice.” My recommendation is, stop. You’re a humble pastor and talented musician. Your a creative musical director and friend to all. May God always bless you. Other than that, you’re tolerable. Hah.
Most inspiring story of God in action and the dedication of His Loyal children to make this happen is outstanding. I’m in awe. As a current member my only regret was not being there in the beginning to help.
Digging in the”past” I came across this video. I love With strong affection it consistency In comparison to the current day in 2024. To me, it’s like a warm comforter, something that soothes me, keeps me warm and also lets me feel secure. Recognizing that this was done some four years ago and seeing that nothing about our Churches mission has changed, confirms to me everything I felt about Community Church When I began attending in 2023. I’ve had different experiences with “praise and worship time “ In other churches. I understood its purpose but yet “ the comfort I do at our church exemplifies the internal feeling I have when I stand with conviction with the feelings I harbor in my heart toward God swaying or crying to listening to our band as the words are made visible for all to follow. Each week I love it when Tom says, and I paraphrase, if it’s not your thing, feel free to sit down sip your coffee eat your bagel and take it all in. I feel so warmed by that statement and it never gets old. Tom expresses this so clearly it makes my heart sing And clearly can reflect upon the internal purpose that I have and why I enjoy it so. The story about the experience you had in the other church, and you, leaving which in all honesty was some thing that came to my mind when I first came to our Church. If I didn’t feel the Holy Spirit in me, alive in our church, I was going to get up and walk out and expected to do so. With personal difficulties, I took my seat. I followed, along with the singing, and the wonderful music produced and I immediately felt I was at the right place. I give kudos to you that you left when you felt and heard the awkwardness, and in my opinion, what praise and worship truly means. I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to find this video. My only criticism. is that I believe it should be brought back to a current status, possibly in a future series, or even a singular message on a Sunday. It always seems to me that everybody enjoys the band and the meaning of the songs that we sing and sway and cry to our Lord, with a certain sense of pride. I keep loving our church more and more. I love Lou, Tom, Ally, Toni and volunteers and staff more and more as well. I’m getting more involved as I see the consistency and feel it In my spirit. May God bless the church and it’s growth and it’s forever consistency of it’s Mission. It reaches all. In a world in which all need to be reached.

I’ve really enjoyed these videos! They’ve challenged me to zoom in on one theme from my reading and focus on it throughout the day. Thanks so much for the time you spent in putting them together Lou!
It makes sense that the inheritance Paul speaks of is not about going to heaven or hell, because who receives an inheritance when they themselves die? Heirs receive an inheritance while they are still alive!
I recently picked up NT Wright's New Testament for Everyone and have been reading from there for this plan, and last week's reading through Mark. It seems to be more dynamic, and is more a thought for thought interpretation of the text
Todays message and others in the past is what truly enriches me. It continually Brings out the boundless love He has for us. To interpret these epistles as they are to be understood today. In our lives today. I’m thankful for each Sunday as I absorb more and more truth that I can bestow upon others in Jesus’ Holy name. Great stuff, Lou. Great stuff. -H
I loved this. Please continue with the daily devotions. As a PK " IFYKYK" it has been a long time since I have felt a renewed interest in reading the Bible. I get the text reminders and and it sets my mind right. Taking time to watch and read is a great connection. Thank you for doing this
Pastor, that was such a great analogy with your son’s drawings. God loves us with what we do no matter when on our journey bc we’re His children 🥹❤️ also, I love that you have extra resources for us like the texting while we read the Bible together 🙏🏽 God bless you
