yami here! welcome to our yam fam! :3 let me get this clear: this channel is for all kinds of content that i'm interested in uploading, not just for miraculous ladybug. that's simply what i've been into making vids about for a while so far. don't get the wrong idea. uploads used to be once a week or two XD. now they're irregular (i can’t’nt, as a student ༼ ༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ༽).
Puss wasn’t supposed to violate all seven deadly sins as that would make him irredeemable in the eyes of viewers and the audience. But the appearance of how he had broken about five of the sins is not a coincidence either: - Pride; his personality is littered with pride, he thinks he’s the best of the best. - Greed; An example of greed would be partaking in theft and robbery which Puss on multiple occasions commits. - Gluttony; His life where he killed himself from shell-fish shows this. - Lust; Puss is obsessed with his image of fame. - Sloth; Puss’s unwillingness to commit to the marriage he had started / the eight lives he’s wasted.
This film is the best animated movie I've seen since Tangled. It is also better than anything Disney has produced since, coincidently enough, Tangled. The fat shaming/marketing issues is nothing but a body positivity rhetoric. The film is literally about inner beauty, and the very same people who are all about body positivity totally judged the film superficially before even seeing it. WTF does that tell you?
I was literally thinking Thomas Astruc could've made Kim his childhood bully instead of Chloe. By could've I mean never cuz his bully was probably a girl. I dont know if Thomas ever said that or not
Lets not furget the scene where Cat Noir purrs when Ladybug falls on him and makes them crash into a wall when they were on a train or subway (I furgot the name of that episode). The face Cat Noir makes when Ladybug says "Wait did you just purr?" Cat Noir looked so flustered in that scene.
DOCTOR MIKE!! And Red Shoes is her name when she has the shoes on but if she doesn't she's called snow white 5:05 if you watch the full movie really closely almost all the Disney princess plot/looks are in the red shoes and the seven dwarfs ex. Tangled, Cinderella, beauty and the beast,alice in Wonder land(i think), 8:26 bears are kids that are cursed and i think(my theory) is that the bears are still young so they are cute but when your cursed and old in Regina's curse your ummm a bit scary 15:00 in like the ending the mirror on the wall said to Merlin "how did she took off her shoes?what kind of magic did you use?" So its like ghe shoues gives what the person wearing it to them but red shoes wants nothing more at the moment than to save Merlin from drowning 15:52 when no one is looking they will be back at their original form so they are like "aww man i miss my old handsome old me" 19:27 (i have so many edits) so the queenade show white dad to be a bunny,and in rare time he will be himself again for a brief moment 28:59 yeah he doesn't know it yet..yet it only works in like heart breacking moment 31:53 same thing as cat noir not knowing who ladybug is..they are just blind 43:57 i don't think he healed more on transformed Ok imma sub now but please go watch the ending credits there is a animation where they found there partner
though i feel the song is made for man voice but this somehow pretty good with your voice (girl voice) , good jop , first time i know you though :skull:
The colour change didn't realy bother me that much. I didn't like this movie because they changed certain things that took me out of the movie, just small things but they stuck with me 1) they changed the sisters names and i only know becaues when they called for one of the sister's (i think it was coral or something like that) it didn't start with the letter A as all of them had that as their initial 2) they called Ariel's singing to Eric a sirens spell which makes it sound like she cast a love spell on him the way they talk about it 3) they made her sing more and the whole point with that is that when she sings part of your world it's this big thing this is everything she is giving up but in this movie it's like they maker her sing almost every song voice or no 2.5) when Sebastian sings his song Ariel is meant to be to in her own world and trying to get away however in this movie she is singing along and it makes no sence 3) they changed it to that Ariel doesnt remember the contract oh an 4) they made the characters rap, that one always bothers me, they don't always need to rap.
Sorry for the late reply; I was stressed and busy with my internship, and I constructed part of a reply to you, which didn't save! So I was unmotivated to repeat, plus feeling tired by everything else. But I appreciate how much you wrote, and it was interesting reading about your thoughts! Sometimes I want to hear thoughts from people, and I don't receive much, so thanks. 1) The change to the sisters also felt unnecessary to me, yes. Both the appearance and the names imo. But it seems like what they tried to do is to make their own new thing, which doesn't work if you have too many elements that are similar to the original, as I mentioned. So yeah, pulling you out of the movie for sure. 2) What part of the movie was this, again? I might want some more context. It's nice that you noticed such a detail. On the good side, she could be seen as enchanting to him. 3) Good point! I like how you thought about such symbolism. And yep, pretty odd that she's singing after losing her voice. Even though it's like internally singing, it's like she didn't really give it up. 3.5) I personally didn't find it so problematic, since I saw it as her seeing some allure of the sea, and reason to just stay with what 's familiar down there. But ultimately, she chooses the surface world. But it's true that the scene can also show that she doesn't have as much passion to see the human world compared to cartoon Ariel. 4) I was trying to make sense of them changing that too. It could be because Ariel does things like telling Eric her name without saying a word. Like, she can be smart enough to tell him something without words. If she knew about the contract, she could reveal it to him, so I could see how it might be more coherent to just make her forget about it. 5) Yeah, to make it hip for the kids XD. Can be seen as pretty cringe, especially compared to the music style in the original cartoon.
Only just seen your reply, thankyou for responding and the siren line is repeated a couple of times through the movie, hard to pinpoint the exact moment I think it was mentioned by either Ursula or sebastian or even both, but like I said they were just minor things like if I hadn't grown up with the og movie I dont think they would have bothered me (other than the rapping)

Spoilers for movie and season 5 finale of the show also slight spoiler for big hero 6: The voice acting was throwing me off in the movie so I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt like that and I also didn't like how they dealt with hawkmoth, like in the show they kill him off and here they straight away forgive him like 'oh you were dealing with loss and the miraculous corrupted you' or 'I will do this big sacrifice and not care for my son also don't tell him bla bla bla' but like if this was real life he would be sent to prison for at least 20 years from what he's done as both hawkmoth and being a neglectful, emotionally mentally and physically abusive father (physically still as he sent akumas including himself after adrian) and it's not like that cant show that on a 'kids' movie because they also did a similar thing in big hero 6 with the villain still going to prison 'even though it was to save a family member' If they wanted a message it could be 'You may not be able to forgive the villain but you can forgive yourself/mourn the life of who the villain once was' or something like that, they said it better in an episode of girl meets world the only difference is that wasn't as big of a topic/ more about a deadbeat dad but with the mother still in the picture
Personally, i didn't mind Ariel looking different and enjoyed the movie anyway, but i get the people who had a negative reaction. Your analysis helped my understand them even more
Miraculous it's Ugly belong to the lightest best friend the you know what I mean the owner of the gold miraculous get the guy you know the one with the family and you know what I mean one with the black hair
