For instance, there are Origin-based and Destination-based Sales Tax Collection laws, depending on what state you live in. blog dot taxjar dot com/charging-sales-tax-rates/ explains this a bit. OK, I've done a few of my research. This method is illegal and you are not required to charge tax if a buyer purchases from outside of your state.. DS Domination is impractical, and they are not giving the real info.. Yes, I am the same person who comment. LOL..
I think you might run into a problem down the line if you are collecting sales tax, but unable to show the state in question that you sent that sales tax to them. For example, if I sell a $100 item to someone in KY, I have collected an additional $6 in sales tax. If I buy the item for $80 on Amazon, they will take $4.80 in sales tax. Even if I can argue that I paid the tax to KY through the Amazon seller, there is still $1.20 that I claimed was for sales tax, but went in my pocket. My gut says this could cause some legal problems at some point. Might it not be a better practice to just add the highest tax rate into the asking price on ebay?
Yes add two States! Nevada 7% and Tennessee 9% this should give you 19 States If you don't live in Florida don't add Florida! Florida will make 20 of you live there!

Great Video. Thanks. One thing that I have not seen mentioned is that I will have to pay sales tax on everything I buy from Amazon. I live in NJ and they charge me sales tax even if it is a "gift" and shipping to another state. That cuts into my profit on every item. I believe a lot of people will get into real trouble with this.
