I performed this with a double string quartet and timp..I wish I had this orchestra...and this organ. I played a wonderful 37 rank Aeolian Skinner but I would have loved more colors which you were able to add! Superb performance!
The faster sections originally struck me as a tad poky, but I've since learned that the Leon Cathedral is HUGE, so the soloist was probably respecting the room's acoustics.
This song gives me emotions, lots of them. First hour, I'm dancing with reality and dreams. And never let go, the second hour, I feel a bliss of hatred crawl down into me. Third hour, I get more, A person crawls into my mental state, merely an aesthetic of hate, and everything's been tooken away from me. And I play this organ, with my head down. Then a machine comes into my only level of calming down, Known as V1. V1 is a blue, vaguely humanoid machine with a long head which bears a resemblance to a CCTV Camera. Printed on the left side of V1's head is a barcode and some unreadable characters. Eight, glowing winglike protrusions come from its back which enable its aerial maneuverability, dashing, and continuous sliding, along with storing weapons that are not in use. "V1" is displayed on the left side of its torso. V1 has the Feedbacker as its left arm, which it uses to punch and deflect projectiles. V1 is almost identical to its successor, V2 but with a deep blue color scheme. Unlike V2 which uses a more standardized heavy plating, V1 has thinner, more fragile chassis. This makes it capable of repairing itself via direct contact with fresh blood. At first, V1 does not have any of its weapons other than its own arm, but will quickly get its first weapon in 0-1: INTO THE FIRE: the Piercer Revolver Piercer Revolver. Variants of already-found weapons can be bought from the terminals, and other weapons can be found throughout the game. According to V2 V2's entry, V1 was a the first iteration of the V series of robots: a prototype war machine built during the Final War. While many machines of this time were fueled by blood, V1 was special in that it did not require a separate fueling process -- it could absorb blood directly into the armor using a revolutionary new exterior plating, making it nearly unstoppable in combat. This was counteracted by very thin armor, making it quite brittle, but the advantages of on-the-spot repairing and refueling far outweighed the detriments. However, it never reached full production as a result of the Final War ending and the start of the New Peace. V1 was abandoned and V2 began production to hopefully make up for sunk costs, built as more of a peacekeeper than a war machine. The end of all wars killed all demand for the V models, so neither of them left the prototyping phase. This likely means that V1 and V2, being the prototypes for their respective models, are the only ones of their kind. It is hypothesised that the V1 model was first created to counteract the Earthmovers, but due to the war ending never got a chance until 7-4: ...LIKE ANTENNAS TO HEAVEN. And a battle commences, and my hatred grows, into PERFECT, HATRED.
Machine, turn back now. The layers of this palace are not for your kind. Turn back, or you will be crossing the Will of GOD... Your choice is made. As the righteous hand of the Father, I shall REND YOU APART, and you will become inanimate once more. BEHOLD! THE POWER OF AN ANGEL!
Re-discovered this outstanding piece after re-watching Solaris ... I lost count how many times. The emotional impact of this music is so powerful. It makes me cry.
JS Bach had the ability to touch the human soul like no other musician of his time and even today his music touches the souls of us all. The exquisite melodies in this piece are like none other. Modulations from minor to major keys keeps the listener captivated. Beautifully played on a magnificent organ. Thank you, Gracie ❤❤
Yes, you are so right about Sebastian Bach; Balsam für die Seele. He was perhaps a psychologist with not words but music as his therapeutical instrument?
Souvent semble-t-elle mélancholique, cette mélodie ouvre l'esprit à s'unir au coeur, à s'apaiser sereinement avec le vibrant espoir toujours présent. Que du bienfait. D'autant plus si bien jouée !
Once again those rude photographers taking pictures with their noisy cams SCHLACK-SCHLACK...SCHLACK-SCHLACK. Definitely unacceptable! They should be allowed to access the concert hall ONLY if their cam(s) have a silent operation mode. Otherwise: out!
