I enjoyed the video and found the book list to be great, mate! Here are my current top 5 book recommendations: - "On the Way to Work" by Damien Hirst - "Lettering for Advertising" by Van Nostrand Reinhold - "Size-Specific Adjustments" by Tim Ahrens and Shoko Mugikura - "Shaping Text" by Jan Middendorp - "Designing Graphic Props for Filmmaking" by Annie Atkins
Always loved your setup, it is just everything that I ever wanted. Hopefully, I will make my own in the next couple of months and will surely gonna tag you as this is where I am getting my inspiration from.
Ah that means so much! Trust me, my space is always evolving, so as you are making your own just trust the process and don’t do my mistake of rushing your setup, taking you time is key. Definitely tag me, would love to see it.
I loved Alice in Borderland! I spent an entire day binging that with my 14 year old daughter.😂 This leap you are taking is very brave but necessary. Good luck! 👍🏾
I’ve been hesitating about whether to buy this keyboard. Do you have any suggestions? From the videos I’ve watched, the back of the keyboard, it seems quite thick. Would it be uncomfortable to use in daily life?
Honestly this is the most comfortable keyboard to type on I’ve used so far. The thickness and angle of the key caps, make for a really comfortable typing experience.
Great Video Mate, loved seeing the process behind the New Balance Poster, would love to explore product photography like that. Well done on making the leap dude, you're gonna kill it.
@@Monkekong341Linux Mint. It's easy to choose. If you are interested in Linux then Google Distro Chooser and do that. It'll give you a couple distros to choose from
I used to use premiere pro, mainly because when I worked as a designer, that’s what everyone used as it was part of the Adobe package. But Final Cut saves me so much time when editing, plus the colours look exactly the same when exported, which was a big issue when I used premiere pro. So Final Cut is my choice.
Hi Robert! I've been following you on social media for a few months now and I really like your style. You have a great organisation and know how to combine different aspects of design in content creation. Lately I have been in the same situation myself and let me tell you, you are a great inspiration. Keep it up! Thank you for sharing this video and I wish you all the best in your goals 🫶
I’m a big fan of your work. I wish you the best with this channel, especially as someone who took this path a few years ago. It might be difficult in the future, but it’s definitely the best time to be a creator. 🙌🏻
Hi Robert! all good? I'm Pedro and I follow your work from Brazil 🇧🇷 The video was WONDERFUL and I wish you all the luck and success in the world in this transition and in the next steps. I want to take this turn towards content creation in the coming months and you and Matthew Encina have been great inspirations for this! So thank you very much One topic I would like to see is how you deal with colors in your videos and the ideation/planning phase. Again, good luck with the next steps, your work is incredible 👏🏻
Hey, thanks so much for the kind words, and being even mentioned with the great Matthew Encina! I wish you luck with your content journey, just keep at it and it will pay off! That sounds good, can you just let me know what you mean by colour, like colour editing in video or design?
@@robertmccombe Hi Robert! By color I meant more about color treatment and color correction in videos and photos. One of the points that always catches my attention in videos and posts is the way colors draw attention
