@@CrochetTherapy Thank you. I'm still fairly new to the art of crochetting and I do find that having a hook with soft grip handle makes crochetting much easier. I started off trying the traditional hooks and just couldn't get on with them. So my daughter brought me the set of hooks I now use. I can knit as well so I crochet like I am knitting but it works for me. Strangely if I was asked which I prefered to do, knitting or crochet? I would actually say crochet one it just one stitch so mistakes can easily e corrected and two you can experiment more with crochet than with knitting. And I have tried out all sorts of weird experiments with it, with surprising results.
What about using a old jacket and backpack from the grands to hang by the board and put the bigger longer Keychain so people can get the idea for the other uses
Wonderful video. I was put in charge of decorations and Center pieces for my mother in law's upcoming 75th birthday party. On a side note, when doing the black border, I folded first. Something about the butterfly being open on the sided just bugged me.
normally its hard to follow videos, i either have to pause or fast forward but i found it really easy to match your pace and it was fun listening to you talk
It is so weird but the bag you showed today is what I am making to put my tablet in, I love the bunny my granddaughter wants me to make her a dress I am having trouble finding a pattern for a size 7 girl dress I don't want it to be see through.
I don't comment often but I do watch the replay every episode and love the interaction you have with everyone live. I also love the variety of everything you talk about, particularly when you share your computer screen to show patterns and yarn. However, what is pushing me to comment now is that I just got that same pain in the palm of my hand under the middle finger. I didn't do anything either to cause it and sometimes it hurts worse after certain crocheting. Mine started 10 days ago and I haven't figured out anything. My fingers no longer bend from the joints being frozen with arthritis and I wondered if it is just arthritis going down my finger joints. Please let us know if you figure it out. In the meantime, I will continue to crochet and watch your replays.

Well...can't beleive that this beautiful bag was easy to make with clear and precise instructions. This is actually the first thing I have ever completed trying to crochet.😢 Am loving my bag. A big thank you to Barbara whose presentation was admirable.

Table of contents: 1:08 - materials 1:48 - foundation chain 2:20 - Row 1: 8 granny clusters into the ring 5:16 - row 2: (color change optional) granny cluster, ch2, granny cluster in each chain space all the way around. 10:55 - row 3: 6 double crocheted in each corner chain space, 1 sc in each non-corner chain spade, all the way around.
Has anyone made this and have it come out correctly? I've made 4 or 5 attempts, and every time, the 3rd row (that you front post in for the first time) doesn't end with the correct number of stitches. I've watched, rewatched, slowed it down, zoomed it in, and I'm not getting it. What am I getting wrong? I swear im doing what is shown in the video.

Hi Barbara, This is the first video of yours that I watched and no doubt way back in the comments I am there ! I am making this bag and mentioned your channel in my latest video I havent got much Aran so mixing different scrap yarn I had to do blo to get my bag to go up probably as the yarns are not as thick but apart from that and now its going up woo hoo I am back on the next section following what you did
My butterfly turned out pretty good. It sure looked like a flower until it morphed into a flutterby. You can make a chrysalis to stuff it into if you use thinner yarns. It’s a neat toy for a kid into bugs.
