Would it be possible to show the coordinates in fractions of inches? I use your style, N-E, that is fine for my projects, but I need also to give coordinates to intermediate points (for foundation location), and where I live, Imperial is the system. I have solved through a back-and forth process creating a csv file and worked in a spread sheet. But it’s pretty cumbersome
So, with LDDT if you went in and edited points and have a description key file you're using, you just edit the points, hit OK and it makes all those changes...without having to click apply description keys. It just did it automatically. I do not care for what they did with points and getting rid of project based drawings. They had to make points complicated for no apparent reason.

The "Edit Parcel Properties" at 2:08 wont appear for me. It works for others files, but not in my current file. Does anyone have a solution for this? My workaround is changing it via Prospector.
Very Helpful. Thank you. It worked via my own locally defined projection. I did find that when exporting basic lines or polylines, it was better to set their elevations to zero and then allow the exporter to place them at ground level.
Hello, Mike. Thank you for the tutorial. If you could tell, what software does this simulation shown in this link, please? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QcFLqpO_cQY.html Or, is there any software you suggest for simulation of Subsurface utility mapping?
Wayne - sorry I made that video and posted here so I could make a LinkedIn Article and share the links - see if this helps: www.linkedin.com/pulse/trimble-business-center-commands-mike-carris/?trackingId=4XCLJajGTzSVyL3c6zTE8Q%3D%3D
Click one address label (parcel number or whatever information attached to the centroid) then press and hold ctrl while selecting other address labels and at the end right click and select properties where you can change the parcel area label for all the selected parcels.
Is there a capability within this application that will take the resulting overlay of data and calculate the % completion/progress towards the final grade planned?

First, thank you for the video. Can you please make another video on how to compute cut/fill material using multiple surface Daylight. I build a corridor with the multiple surface daylight Sub-assembly, but when I create a corridor surface I can't add a boundary to the surface.

I recall watching this as a overview video to training course I paid for a while back that has since been discontinued. There was a portion that covered some direct edits into a profile style in the Text Component Editor that was able to be used instead of an expression. Do you happen to have that video or any resources pertaining to that? I currently have an issue with some PipeNetwork Connected Pipes which do not allow for expressions to be written for and I wanted to export this as a work around.
Anthony, Sorry for not responding to this question. I'm going to assume you found an answer. I've been out of the training world for a few years however I've decided to recreate the training site under a new name called theflyinglabs.com I'm still working on updating the content. The site will provide a mechanism for users to submit questions related to Civil 3D or other AEC technology in a place that I will be notified so they can be answered. Hopefully it will help users like yourself.
first of all thank you for the great video. if i may ask will you help me or make a video on how can i possibly compute the area of a riprap? using the assembly

How do you use the machine control mapping and recording? We have the ability but do not use it. I work for a large grading company in California called Teichert construction. Is there a helpful video out there that walks through the process for mapping and recording for machines?
