You would never know by simply looking at this that, this was a devastating tsunami that nearly 40,000 dead or missing and trillions of dollars of damage and loss. This is no worse than a storm surge, but still cool to look at.
Hola todos y muchas gracias por recordarnos que debemos orar al cielo por tanta gente linda que viajo al cielo Fue una tragedia que fue demasiado doloroso. Muchas gracias. Mi señor Jehová Dios te bendiga amén. Anita de cali Colombia.
How could a tsunami go all the way from Japan to California? I don't believe this is real. Or else it's someplace else and they're claiming it's California.
It would be something if it overflowed into the old salt water bath basin behind you. It’s worn down even more since I was there in the 1970s. Is the old, opened safe still on the hillside?
Awesome video...this us the first I've seen of Cali that wasn't just Santa Cruz...Glad for you the water didn't surge any higher. We get what Japan got here on the West Coast & it will be Apocalyptic...they're THE best prepared in the world...us...not so much. ✌
California doesn't have a subduction zone except in the very northern part. But Oregon and Washington do. They do have signs all over the place about where to go ...
Solikewise ye when ye shall see all these things know that it is near even at the doors But of that day hour knoweth no man no not the anges of heaven but my father only For god so love the world that he geve his only begotten son that who soever bilieveth in him have everlasting life whosoevr does not bilieveth in jesus see not the life of gods warth on him Jesu say unto you this genera tion shall not pass till all these things be fulfilled Heaven and earth sahall pass way but my words shall not pass But pray ye that Your fligth be not in the winter neither on the sabbad
Despite the damage and heart shatter it has caused. Japan actually managed to actually hold back some of the full power of the tsunami. The tsunami walls unfortunally were 10 meters high, the waves reached a maximum height of 40.5 meters, but the wall slowed it down, quite a lot. If compared to 2004, these 14 countries had absolutely zero protection. 😔
I disagree, completely, Place a seaside village on this shore and it will do at least as much damage as it did in Japan. Here it’s hitting a tall shore lined with rocky escarpments. The facts are that the longer a tsunami event travels (remember that almost 100% of it is building energy, not losing it, well beneath the surface) the stronger it will be when it finally hits shore. The Boxing Day event of many years ago was FAR more impactful on the west side of the Indian Ocean than it was near the epicentre, just off the eastern shoreline. Perhaps learning more about tsunamis would help your understanding.
This idea does not make sense. Besides the fact that a stream of water is a continuum of water molecules interspersed with other chemicals/matter and not discrete bundles of water that can be acted on in isolation. And that water wouldn't retain a magnetic alignment after leaving a magnetic field. The image of water magnetized water packets looks like breaks the whole concept of magnets by have the dipoles of water molecules aligned with the same charges facing each other rather than opposites.
