Hahaa, yes, need to be careful about that, but big brothers in blue are always watching nearby to stop us if we venture too close to Malaysia border waters 😅
Yes these private kayaks but you can also rent from quite a few professional rental companies, just google for: Kayakpools (Mr Foo), Purehybridz, Fever, Fish On Kayak Fishing etc etc
Hi there…you may rent a kayak from Kokomo Beach Centre. Do Google and access their website for prices of the different types of watercraft that you may rent from them. Cheers.
I use the T-18 and love the range I get on my paddleboard. A good tip is to run the propeller deeper. I hear some aeration going on in your rig. Running the prop deeper will reduce vibration and noise and increase range.
do i need a circuit breaker when connecting the wire to battery pack? i was told that it is needed. I had one watersnake before and the motor failed after using 2nd try. Had to returned and claim warranty
Hi, yes you are right, some do recommend a circuit breaker. The battery that I am using supposedly comes with an inbuilt BMS (battery management system) which would break the circuit in case of any surge. So far, about 6 of us having been using this motor for the past 2-3 yrs regularly without any issues. Hope they allowed you to return yours without any problems.
Isn't doing this make yourself required to get a licence in Singapore? Any powered boat will require a licence. You may end up get fined if MPA or coastal guard check you
Hi there! It was around $600 per pax but it can vary according to the final number of pax on the boat, number of nights, departure timing, tips, and extra food we bring etc. You can send them a pm on Facebook for their schedule and get a quote. Enjoy!
