What I see is a man treating another man exactly as approached, with ignorance. Other people have their own culture and customs as well; when doing business, it is common practice to acknowledge and honor those customs as a good faith sign of respect. English is the language of business, and is used as such for a reason (It has stringent rules.) When approaching an individual (who may not hail from your background) with the same casual demeanor and language you would your kinfolk it may have adverse effects. Study up. The only prejudice here stems from lack of education.
