Thanks Dr. Balasubramaniam for Saint Thirumoolar pranayama technique and very good demonstration. Thirumoolar says Kootrai udhaikum kuriyadhuvame.... which says even we can kick out Yama by practicing this measured. breathing technique. It would be better if you can highlight little more on the over all health benefits, how effective this technique in destressing, its effect on BP normalization and curing heart ailments as well as other chronic diseases besides over coming fear and anxiety. It is good to know that mr:balasubramaniam is doing some research and finding what are the many chemical compound produced in the saliva when we practice the "thirumoolar" pranayama. Othereise the pranayama is the same as "anuloma viloma"pranayama or known as "alternate " breathing which is being prACTICED FOR befor thirumoolar. Other ones he performed are "sheethali sheethakari, snd the famous "ujjayi"pranayama

Hi sir! Thank u for giving this wonderful breathing techniques . But I have 1 doubt in thirumoolar breathing that should we do it in alternate nostrils for certain counts or in only one nostril . It will be grateful if u reply ...thank u.
