I don't remember writing the letter specifically, but it definitely sounds like a thing I'd do (... and keep doing long into adulthood LOL).

@@BillStoll1 The teacher is by now dead and buried, so unlike your typing class letter she won't read what I am typing write now. As a typing exercise, we were supposed to be drafting a business letter. She was morbidly obese, and in your business letter you wrote something about her being fat and ugly. You removed the letter from the roller of the typewriter, handed it to me seated next to you, I read it, chuckled not out loud, just discreetly, and handed it back to you. She noticed our activity, which I assume was outside the norms of the typical classroom experience, she walked over to you, and snatched the sheet from your hands. We of course were seated at our typewriters. While standing over you, she read your letter, and you immediately began blushing. Letter still in her hand, she did not say a word, but just abruptly walked away. I remember the incident because I was innocent of the crime. You forgot the experience probably because of your feeling of guilt.
